What do you think? I know I'd be tired, but would I lose more fat weight faster if I just changed my diet intake to 80%Protein/10%Carbs/10%Fat? I've been trying this animalbolic diet, which seems to be working but I wish it worked faster. I'm beginning to lose patience and motivation. I can't stand looking in the mirror. This board is the only thing that keeps me rollin'.

you'd better do a little more homework, cause your diet percentages are all wrong, if you trying a anabolic diet (im assuming), your fat intake should be way high and you protein intake way lower, if you keep this up at this rate you body is probably will convert your protien to glucose, and be fucked. im sure more people that are familiar with this diet will give you more input.

definetely man, you'll lose weight on low carbs. But ya know theres a better, faster way. I'm serious now, a friend of mine wanted to lose weight fast do he went down to absolutely NO CARBS, he went to wendys, mcdonalds you name it and threw away the bread tomato, ex. and ate the burger, bacon, or whatever else fatty meat, you see your body burns fat for energy if you do that, and trust me he was losing fat like "insert good line here" Well lets just have it this way he was losing A LOT of FAT QQQUUUICCCKK!!!! and it works. but it is a little hard on the kidneys (0 carbs)

nobu ,you misunderstood the post. This 80P/10C/10F is not my current intake, but I was asking if it would be a better idea to change from my anabolic diet to this crazy method. Probably not, but like ~ said, maybe I could go with 0 carbs and just protein & fat.

nobu, the man said ANIMALbolics, not ANAbolic diet - BIG BIG difference! The former is a coliracilly-restricted less extreme version of a TKD, while the latter is a less extreme version of a CKD. Neither diet requires ketosis provided there is a caloric defecit, so 70% fat is not necessary. 80% protein is however nonsensical! In effect, if a person was to do this, he/she would would be taking in far too high quantities of amino acids (in the form of dietary protein), which the body would respond to by releasing protein disposal enzymes to detoxify itself. Those enzymes don't know that the body they're floating around in houses a brain keen on preserving/building muscle - all they know is find the monstrous overload of amino acids and dispose of the aminos before the toxicity they are causing really fucks the body up. So what? No problem, you'll be eating so much protein, it'll keep these enzymes way too busy disposing of dietary protein before they start doing their dirty work on the other source of aminos in your system; your own lean muscle tissue. Right? Sure, but what happens if you happen to miss a meal and go for longer than 2-3 hours without overloading on protein? Remember, you're not only feeding your muscle, you're also using the protein for energy by means of conversion to glucose, and you're feeding those nasty little enzymes. That means you have to keep eating more and more protein just to maintain muscle, and if you don't, or if you decide to go off this "diet", those enzymes will be happy to do their thing on your existing muscle. There are more reasons not to do this, pertaining to kidney and gastrointestinal function, but I'm lazy and tired so I don't feel like saying any more. |
