I have been spending in excess of $300 a month on supplements that really never ever give me the gains I want. When I find a reliable source I trust I would like to know what kind of money I would be spending if I had it shipped from whereever. Maybe Deca and Sust or D-Bol. Am I wasting my money buying HMB Creatine Glutamine etc should I just find a source and would it be affordable??? any info would help IP: Logged |

Creatine and glutamine are not a waste of money. HMB however is- BILL PHILLIPS IS DEMON SEED. CLA is also a waste of money. ECA is pretty good, some of the prohormones are OK if taken in high doses- I myself have gotten good results with prohormones in the 1g a day range.- iget my powders wholesale and in bulk- if you are buying at GNC- well lets just say that they are probably more gentle in the prison showers. Gear of course works and can be of great value but it sounds like you might want to take some more time and research before you just go out and buy something. ------------------ IP: Logged |

i think most supplements and prohormones are a waste of money, except protein drinks, i beleive in those. save your money for a couple months and you'll have enough for a pretty damn good cycle. the most important thing is your diet - two or three shakes a day and 4 meals a day works pretty good for me. you just have to eat like a fiend, train hard and get proper rest. The name says by itself: SUPLEMENT It's not a main thing that gonna make you big or lean !! The main thing that really work it's: Proper Diet, Train and proper sleep. Roids make you much bigger, but only if you do the main thing the right way... Try taking roids without eating or training enough... Suplements really "help", not resolve. I agree with the bro that says that protein powders are great, but you can use something more depending of what is your needs... Those work (like suplements): Creatine, Glutamine, ECA (This one it's great !!), Yohimbine, Niacin, Tyrosine, MCT-Oil, Vitamins and some others... Forget about Amino-Acids, Carbs-ups (eat or drink something !!), and this kind of extras... ------------------ IP: Logged |

You will spend between $250-$500 for the first few cycles. It depends on the source. Do research until you think you know everything. Then do more research until you KNOW you know everything. Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

Damn son, 300$?, talk about looking for the magic pill. I think you need to learn a bit about nutrition and quit buying into all the hype in muscle mags. Stick with supps that have stood the test of time, an example being, protein, of course, creatine, glutamine, and any good ECA stack. Or get a second job....your choice IP: Logged |

I have researched and I know how to eat right. I pound food all day every day but not soo much that I'm getting a gut. I have a naturally slender build but I've got myself as high as 190-195 pounds lean 8-9% bodyfat benching 285-290 max. I really have had great success but it is just that I want more and I have used gear in the past but was over 1 1/2 yrs ago I bought it myself accross the border. I know what I paid for that. However I'm not headed there anytime soon and need to know what I would pay mail order. Am I stuck where I'm gonna be w/out gear or should I keep trying new supplements and diet fads to gain weight without much ado???? Any suggestion from an experienced bodybuilder would help a lot Thanks IP: Logged |

I am in pretty much the same boat as you. I was stuck at 205lbs 10%bf naturally. I believe it is possible to be 220-230 with under 8% bf, but it is very hard, because a natural bodybuilder needs a PERFECT diet. Skip la cour eats every two hours, 8 times a day. Personally, I could not have a job with that kind of eating schedule. If you can deal with the side effects, I would definately go with the gear. You can have a less than perfect diet and still get good results, you can have less than a perfect rest schedule and still grow. LP IP: Logged |

skip la cour is not a natural bodybuilder: unless you are going with the drug free for a year is natural- and even then I am not sure that its true in that case either. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Bros, If you're talking supplements, creatine is the best invention since the clitoris. If you're talking juice, I'm gonna paraphrase from another board user, "test is the best" Other than that, remember as Leroy says, it is a SUPPLEMENT - to get big, think big: BIG lifts, Spend your money on your diet.
