Thought i'd revive my old ways. The post from the HIV guy has inspired me to spit out a twisted rant for anyone who cares to read it. EVERYTHING COUNTS ! This has been my personal but private mission statement for many years. It relates to everything in my daily life, from my business to my family and of course to my training. What I would like to relay to anyone that will listen is that everything that you do or don't do throughout life will have a positive or negative impact on you and those around you. I'm not going to tell you how to treat others, rather how to treat yourself. If you're fat, lazy and other wise out of shape, do something about it. There is no magic pill or solution that will do it for you. If you're small and weak, again, do something about it. Set a goal and plan a means to obtain that goal. Do you think Arnold achieved his 60 plus inch chest by sitting around, eating chips and smoking pot ? You can't expect to achieve anything in life without working hard for it. Somethings do come very easy, take them for granted and you'll loose them. Most of us have the absolute priviledge of being able to improve ourselves through our physical activities. I bet that there are alot of people out there that wished that they had half the physique as you or I. They're just too lazy to do anything about it. Yes I know lazy might not apply to every condition...but it's my rant. I get somewhat pissed off when I hear from people that would rather try and use a drug to better themselves instead of putting forth the effort to change their own lives. I fully support the notion that once you have made that superior effort and achieved that goal that you have every right to use any means necessary to further upon it. If that means the use of drugs, so be it. But spend a few months in the gym, make every excuse known to man about why you're still fat and ugly and beg me or another to 'hook you up'....I don't think so. Look at everything that you do, every day of your life. Change what needs to be changed and make your own life because no one else will do it for you. ------------------ BPP IP: Logged |

Big Papa---You speak the truth and thats cool. You know people may say this or that about Bill Phillips and regardless of his supplements, if you ever listen to the man speak about "our" sport, he is a very motivational person. He always tries to build the individual up to achieve his or her own personal best, both in the sport and in life in general. I admire people who can reach that vein in people. We have a lot of that here. I am relatively new to the board but I look forward to reading it everyday. There are a lot of cool folks here, and I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all of you. IP: Logged |

I spent the first 22 years of my life as a fat ass. I wondered throughout this time what exactly made me rounder than the average bear. The answer is simple, folks -- priorities. Is your priority to eat, watch T.V. and wait for the next magic pill that "guarentees" results, or is it to cop an attitude, bust your ass, get huge, get proud, and live life to its utter fullest. Since my "awakening" I've become disgusted with what I see around me. Fatness, laziness, absoulte sloth. I can no longer understand how so many people can have their priorities so far out of whack. I have lost friends over this; I hate most of my family because of this. Every time I hear the phrases "You look fine," "Be happy with yourself," or "Just one wont hurt" I thrash violently. I want to mame those who "Just don't have the time" or are "Missing the genes." Fuck 'em. Fuck 'em all. So, please, RANT AWAY!!!!!!!!! IP: Logged |

BUMP, BUMP,.....etc. I hate fat-ass dudes at my gym just laying on the ab boards sweating all over the freaking thing. Granted I don't have the arnold or coleman genes that some have, but at least I've worked my ass off to be where I am now. I also hate those fat bastards w/ 22in. arms and a barrel chest. No shit jack-ass, I'd have the same dimensions too, but instead of having wrinkly gurth where my triceps are SUPPOSED to be and woman like titties, I have a solid, semi-big muscular physique. So to all the fat-asses in our lives, HARDBALL says to slim up, or get the PHUCK out!! GET HUGE AND DROP BOMBS!! IP: Logged |

In total agreement Hardball. Obesity and being overweight is our society's greatest epidemic. Fuck HIV and TB. More people die from obesity related complications than all diseases. Fuck the people who tell you to be happy with yourself. When you are content you might as well role over and die or bend over and sqell like a pig. IP: Logged |

see this is why i have some respect for a few people out there.. some of them talk of the truth/feelings etc... some just spew shit out... this thread has both nice start though. heres a thought... the "fat asses" in your gyms sweating on the machines are WORKING!!! maybe they are not to our level, but they are trying... and even if they are just laying on your ab machines why sweat em? they are sweating not from walking from the car, they are sweating from trying.. putting forth effort... i hate fat lazy people as much as the next guy, but the ones in your gym are trying to change that.. .they dont want to be fat and lazy.. .did you not read what the rant was about? he said... CHANGE... and the fat asses are trying to do that, so cut em some slack. you werent always "semi-muscular" or whatever you said.. you were once a little fuck, or weak ass... you worked.. let them work. I agree wholehartedly with you BPP! Too many people make excuses for themselves in this world, somehow people lost the desire to strive for excellence in everything they do, the american society has become entirely too lazy. And hardball, those fat asses who lay on the ab board sweating, i've got lots of respect for them, at leat they're in the gym trying to do something about themselves, not sitting at home eating deep fried bacon sandwiches. There's a guy at my gym, who i respect more than anyone else in the gym and he's a fat guy. This guy i really feel sorry for, he's got cellulite on his thighs, and some sort of medical condition. Now this guy every day is in the gym working like a dog, running and lifting weights, with everything he can. I've gotten to know him over the years, and he's got some medical condition, i forget what it's called, but i've tried to help him, gone over his routines and his diet and he's doing everything he can. but still he remains fat. Yet everyday, he's in the gym, working and working, i respect that, especially when you think that he doesn't see any serious results. Can you imagine working out for years and seeing nothing, i think i'd quit, but he's still there. And i respect that E2 IP: Logged |

excellent thoughts here. madbomber 31, thankyou for that, i think that your right. i was fat and lazy before and all that shit, now i work very hard and am getting happier with the way i look every day but it took lots of work to get here. i dont like lazy people either, but i was once one and i must say that it took a lot of courage to walk into that gym for the first time and work out. BPP your right though, there is no magic pill, there is only the desire, after the desire then all will follow. styles IP: Logged |

E@ and madbomber, man you took what I meant the completely wrong way...I have total respect for the overweight people at my gym, cause at least they are trying, right. I just don't like the fat, lazy asses around It's like they come to the gym for social hour...at least they can say to their wives, "Hey honey, I'm going to go get fatter at the gym now." What I am trying to say is that I didn't mean ro offend anyone on the board and I love to see people work hard...so if people go to the gym, work out, don't waste space, other's are trying to lift. To those people I offended, I'm sorry BRO'S! IP: Logged |

I'm with you on this BPP, I'm a young guy in difficult profession, and considered by many to be atleast 10 years ahead of others. I didn't get her by procrastinating. In life there are no excuses. The only thing lying between you and that Bar falling on your chest is your mind and the self determination to push back up. ------------------ IP: Logged |
