Just finished my senior season (football) at a Div II school. Play as long as you can, because once it's over, it's over. Bird-dog IP: Logged |

This isnt really answering your question but i played basketball in high school until they made us start weight training and i hated it so bad that i quit. Then as a sophmore and right around 110(graduated at 120), i was embarrassed to lift in front of anyone. I got into it my senior year a made it my life 24 hours a day and reached a natural weight of 230 within 5 years. I have arguements with people all the time about bodybuilders being the hardest working athletes on the planet. While in other sports you get the off season and a week off here and there isnt going to kill you. However, in bodybuilding you must do the right diet the majority of the time which for me means eating every two and a half hours while most of the time not being hungry, and eating a meal in the middle of the night. The diet is the part that wears on me and I know im going to have to get up and start again in the morning eating 4000 calories of good food which isnt that easy. When you live the bodybuilding lifestyle it becomes your life and takes it over. Come to think of it....I wouldnt have it any other way. To become more muscular you must be dedicated, but to become huge you must be obsessed by it. kpumpin IP: Logged |

BIZ.......What do you think of the semi-pro league? I haven't heard alot about. I have a few friends in arena ball, they love it. I had a shot at playing in europe but every one I knew that tried it over there said that it wasn't worth it. Glad to see your still strapping up!! Bird-dog IP: Logged |

In High School I was mainly a football player, but I also dabbled in Basketball, Track, Hockey and gymnastics(one year). I got lots of letters to play football at Div II and III schools but tried out at a Div I school instead and didn't make the team! I tried out at cornerback and kept getting burned by Shawn Jefferson! After that I applied myself to BB and gained 30lbs. Played one year on a semi-pro team in a foreign country(not saying which), got bored and came back home. Currently just a BB! ------------------ IP: Logged |

I played football, basketball, and ran track all four years of high school. Then Received a scholarship to a district 11 school to run 400 m open and 400 m Intermediate hurdles. Competed for 1 year and then one fateful day my hamstring blew up on the last corner of a 400 m open. Now I lift and caoch track at my alma mater. IP: Logged |
