The best time to use insulin is to get an increased spike for your post workout meal. It can very easily make you fat if used at other times. I would start out about 5ius intramuscular so it kicks in faster right after the workout and work my way up to 10. Then you need to consume about 10 grams of carbs per iu of insulin taken. You also need to be very aware of the signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia. Its a very different feeling and is difficult for some people to recognize before they get into trouble. I would make someone aware of the insulin use just in case you have problems there would be someone there to help such as a training partner. Then maybe after you see how you react then you would be able to feel more comfortable with its use. If any of the signs of hypo come up then eat. Also, do not let yourself go to sleep if you get tired during the time the insulin is still effective. You want to make sure you get a fast acting one like humulin-r because the onset is fast and much easier to judge the active times. Insulin is not a drug to be reckless with and i consider it to be among the most dangerous bodybuilders use, and im not one to have much caution with drugs or dosages. Do all the research you can and get your ducks in a row before beginning its use. Also, I wouldnt use it without also combining it with a high androgenic steroid in which insulin will thrive and gear will assist in keeping the fat down. kpumpin IP: Logged |
