hey fellas, i posted last night but the board was "new and improved" this morning... and my post was gone!!! anyway, i want to know how good clen is at cutting the fat. ive gained nearly 40lbs this cycle, and obviously not all is lean mass. ive used all the thermos on the market and love xenadrine, but clen has to blow it away.. does it? what kind of results have ya'll gotten? anyone use it WITHOUT cutting calories too much, but with adding cardio.. ( i dont do cardio during my cycles). anyway, gimme some answers... oh, and please have used the stuff, no "ive heard" or "my training partner did". IP: Logged |

Bro, Clen is not a bad product for fat burning but the only problem is that your body gets used to it so fast that the fat burning effects are only noticible for the first 2 weeks. I have experienced more of a mild anabolic effect from clen than its fat burning properties. Try using it for 2 days on 2 days off with a break every 2 weeks. in the days off from Clen, try a ECA supplement like the Mass Quantities phenyltropic PPA. -later IP: Logged |

The thing about clen is that its a great thing to use for lets say pre contest, but it doesnt do much for you in the long term.. your body gets used to it after two weeks, and then doesnt do anything with it. I'm no expert but i have used clen, and i found that hydroxycut, works for as long as you take it rather than stop in a couple weeks, and the overall effects were actually much more noticable. later IP: Logged |

I'm a hydroxy man myself. I've used both and have found that long term the hydroxy is far better. Your body will get used to clen very quickly, normally when this happens you up the dose and get to the point where you're so cranked up that you can't function. 2 days on and 2 off WILL NOT WORK ! Clen stays in the body for roughly 48 hrs, so on the 2/2 you're never really off. 2 weeks on and 2 off is much better. When you stop taking it, you feel like shit, no energy. If you try it, monitor you body temp on a regular basis, once you get to the point that you're temp is constant and you must raise your dose, time to take some time off. Another concern is the last batch that I recieved, was shit. I've heard that alot of the Mex (spiro) is fake now. All this led me to the hydroxy...take it exactely as instructed and you will see some results. BPP IP: Logged |

hydroxycut is the most overrated supplement for fat burning i have ever seen. i work in the industry, and first and foremost, your body gets used to the mahuang very fast... you got about a month of having the thermogenic effect actually working.. after that your body is used to it and compensates somehow... those who continue to get good results are likely doing so with the hydroxycitricacid (citrimax).. it stops the body from releasing an enzyme that stores carbs as fat... therfore the carbs you eat are used as energy and not stored up... you guys who like hydroxycut should try xenadrine or adipokinetexx... both are great. and if you eat alot of carbs, just take some garcinia cambogia (citrimax) and you have hydroxycut but cheaper and better. thanks for the input on the clen though... oh and one more thing, clen has a half life of 48 hours, so its actually in your body for even longer then that, so ya, the 2 and 2 method does not work... i was gonna do 4 days on, then take a week off, cuz i am only looking to shed 5 or 6lbs... dont wanna drop down to 240 at this point... hell its winter and i am not planning on any shows anytime soon... i step on a stage i am gonna be 240 ripped!!! I'm actually using clen at the moment, I started 1st Jan.2000. And I would agree with Dino Strong about the mild anabolic effect. While I've lose some fat, my muscles are feeling much firmer than before the clen. I use it 2 on 2 off. With the very cold winter here I don't do cardio, but I have cut my carbs down to mainly breakfast time, with protein and some fats for the rest of the day. As for hydroxycuts, well I've used muscletech products before and thought they were basically rubbish, good marketing hype 'though. Good luck with the clen. ------------------ IP: Logged |

i prefer dnp for any fat burner although i use something w/ it...i hit dnp hard for a week...during the next 5 days off i hit something w/ ephidrine in it...any muscletech or weider product or eas is really just sold for the market...if you like muscletech you can find companies who sell really cheap hydroxycitric acid...so... i also use diuretics in the 10off days...i am currently trying to find some product w/ goldenrod in it NOT GOLDENSEAL but goldenrod is the best diuretic herb...better then dandelion leaves and uvi ursi...so... I used Clen for a while and wasn't a big fan of it at all. A buddy of mine liked it, but it made me cramp up so bad that I couldn't stand it. It didn't matter how much water I drank or how much potassium I had. My cheeks would cramp up when I laughed. Maybe it was just bad luck, but I doubt I'll ever try my luck w/ it again. ------------------ IP: Logged |
