my pup is a fresh 5 months old, and i moved back home today and she is meeting 2 adult dogs... the one is a fucking evil bitch. of course the mean one tried to attack, so i just threw her to the side and ended that matter... but i need to get them used to each other... any suggestions? do i let the adults attack the puppy to a point, so they can feel they have placed her in her order of the pack??? or do i let them no that is not an option? i almost ripped the one dog in half, instead i just picked her up and threw her (i am nice).

by the way, i am baaa'aaack

It just takes time. They'll want to attack for a while, but eventually they'll get used to it. Just keep an eye out till they adapt.

You should set an example for your dog. Go over to the other dogs and sniff their asses first, then look at your dog and say "See!".

Bro, In order for your new dog to meet the older ones you must have them meet on neutral ground. The older dogs are defending there home to the outsider. Have them meet somewhere like the park and then work at it. Make sure they all know you are the ALPHA or the leader of there pack... Any other questions just look me up

My dog was a year old and I went to the pound for another. They HATED each other at first. Old dog wouldnt let new dog eat, play with toys, get near me or get on the bed. Old dogs hair started falling out, new dog got so skinny you could see every ribs and they fought and snarled for a month. Once dominance was established by old dog, was smooth as silk. Now they are the best friends and play together all the time. Just be patient with them. they WILL work it out, just leave em alone to do their own thing.
Good luck, Im sure it will be fine

You just got to be carefull with them. It just takes time and they get used to each other. I'd be real carefull with the puppy though. It only takes a couple seconds and the older dogs could tear it up. Try not to show favortism to any one dog. A lot of times the older dogs will get jealous. Just break them in nice and slow and don't leave them unsupervised at first. Some dogs just don't get along period.

I like what Wodin said ---

No really you got a problem.
Last thing you need is them tearing each other up. Probelm is that sooner or later they will have to get it on. Better for you to be around to watch it and try and control it.

Saw a Dobbie lose an eye once during one of these.

Best of luck!

Actually MB when I was into owning dogs for several years I did a lot of reading up on the various breads. And from all this reading I've learned that YOU have to establish yourself as the Alpha of the entire group. Dogs look to just one Alpha type in a group and if you want to control the entire group you better be it!

I had two cockers, A mastif and and a blue tick. We had to place them all before we moved last time because we just were not going to have enough land to keep them on.

GREENHOUSE- my dobe is only 5 months, so that keeper of the domain instinct hasnt kicked in yet... she does however bark at men when i have her outside with me.. she doesnt seem to like mexicans and i am not sure why... maybe she just is not used to them. she LOVES most people... of course, when it comes to her being an adult dog and someone just walking in, i wouldnt recommend it. otherwise, if you keep them around people, let them meet new people, etc... they will know not to be rough when someone comes over, if they are invited in...

the move was shit... it was snowing from kentucky to michigan!!!!!! few cars slid off the road, it made me chuckle

um, eagles better just end that game fast!!!!! and what the fuck?!?? no mcnabb, dawkins, or simon in the probowl??? fuck that shit!!!!!!!!!!!
i was starting to wonder if the eagles lose to cinci and the lions win, if by any chance the lions would host a playoff game vs. the birds... that would fuckin rock!!!!!!!!!!! seeing how i could go, but i am unsure of the lions tiebreaks with the birds... so who knows... oh well i guess... i would rather the eagles get people at home.
