I just go my wisdom tooth pulled yesterday and I was feeling pretty crappy so I checked my temp. and it's 100.4. Fuck this, I'm wondering if it's poor coincidence or if it's because of the operation..I'm guessing the operation so I better call the dentist huh? My mom's at work and I haven't told her yet..

I know how you feel, I was at 103 a week and a half ago, I was about an hour from going to the docs. Take your temp every 30mins to an hour if it keeps going up then you need to see a doc if its hovering it will most likely come down in a short time. ------------------ For a good time click here: Search and Profiles (300Kleens Board)

How should I be eating right now? See, I can't eat a bunch of different foods such as oatmeal or nuts that I normally do because of my tooth. I have already drank one gallon of skim milk and eaten a tub of low fat cottage cheese as well as 4 whole weat nonfat waffles and water. I was thinking about getting some 'healthy choice soups' and taking a whey protein shake along with those as well since they are primarily carbs. I know it's not optimal diet but I cannot eat steak, pasta, or anything of that sort..

If ya really really wanna eat the stuff ya normally do. I suggest puttin that shit in a blender and liqufy [sp?] that shit. Are you taking any kind of medication? I think Tylenol helps lower fevers, ain't too sure. Hope ya feel better soon. ------------------

I was living off protein/mass-shakes, jello, soup, and pudding. Not to healthy, but it was a pain in the ass to eat. ------------------ For a good time click here: Search and Profiles (300Kleens Board)

Can't do that because there would still be oatmeal particles and shit that could get caught in my socket.

I sure will be one happy motherfucker when I'm fully healthy again. Right now I'm going to whine and say my mouth hurts, my back hurts, my head aches and I have the chills. Where is my mommy to get me some sooop?

How long does it take to recover from getting that done? ------------------

Frackal hun.....you can eat anything that doesn't hurt when you chew it. I got my wisdom teeth out about a month and a half ago and oatmeal was my breakfast of choice. The particles won't get stuck in your socket...they are stitched up. As for the fever...do you need some sexual healing? ------------------

Actually, for some reason with mine they did not stitch it up, it is only held by blood clot. I asked them about oatmeal and they told me no, same with salads, meats and other things like it. That's why I was thinking protein shakes and 'healthy choice' potato soup..or maybe you have something else in mind for me too eat sailor?

When I got mine pulled it hardly hurt at all. Spit blod for a day, clotted up and then was fine. You might have an infection.

I had all four pulled the same day when I was 30. It was the worst pain I've ever experienced. I feel for you ... the little fever is to be expected. You'll survive.

Yuck. I had all four pulled at once when I was about 17. The last one ended up not having come in enough to be pulled, so the S.O.B. chipped into my jaw bone to get it out. Im glad its all a distant memory now! ------------------ |
