Not to flame anyone, but why all the sudden is there so much GAY TALK on here...Honestly Its gross to me..I have a brother in law who is gay and I love him dearly, but I dont like discussing it..I know your all gonna say "well dont read it" and blah, blah, blah...Is it just me who feels like this???     | ||

It's peculiar that you notice the gay stuff but are unmoved the overabundance of "regular" (straight) sex talk. As an observer, I would say this is a board where gay people feel comfortable expressing themselves and their sexuality. I'm sure others will add more. | ||

Honestly, I don't think there's a whole lot of gay talk on this Board. I think there is a lot of joking around and with the exception of about 6 guys (depending upon whether you are including Special Bill), this board is over whelmingly straight. And no, I don't get grossed out by all the straight sex talk. It amuses me and I've even learned a thing or two. You should look upon our gay chat the same way! | ||

I have to admit it is kinda hard to get used to, I thought it was a joke the first time I saw anything like that on here. My problem is when guys hit on me. It seems to happen often. I think Johhny O and May rock!!. It's great to see people being so open and honest about their sexual orientation. And I am even more impressed that other people aren't seriously flaming them for being exactly who they are! I work with male youths in custody and their homophobic attitudes are so prevelant. I even have youths who are in custody for beating people they "thought" were gay. I work hard to try to address these attitudes and have used so many community resources for homosexuals who come in as guest speakers to discuss and address attitudes and stereotypes. Damn, I have guys that still think that only gay people can get HIV/AIDS and think that people are homosexual because their "blood is bad". I even had a guy try to attack me because he was bleeding bad after a fight with another offender and thought that I was implying he was homosexual because I put on latex gloves to apply first aid. | ||
