Or do small miracles happen every day?

Or is everything a coincidence?

Thats hard to say man. Really the only proof of God we have for ourselves is answered prayer or miracles. I have never had any mircacles happen that I know of. But I know I have had prayers answered. But then again maybe just a coincidence. But some of them almost had to be an act of God. I believe he does answer prayer.

I think that most situations that you might thank God for at THAT time, can be summed up as coincidence in retrospect. For example: A couple of years ago, I got into some trouble in Las Vegas that ended me up in holding, & then in Clark County jail for awhile. When I got out, I was of course thanking God that I was out because everyday I was in there I prayed that I WOULD get out. I figued anything that good(getting jumped) had to be devine & that my prayers were answered. Then, after a few months of retrospect, I figured that just about every single swingin dick in that place was prayin their collective ass off to get out of that place too. Alot of people that were still in there after I got jumped might have deserved to be out more than me. So the question then became...Why me??? Well it had nothing to do with me at all, as I found out later. The reason that I got out was that the DA wasn't familiar with the substances that I was found to be possessing & the lab results hadn't come back yet. No lab results--no case. No devine intervention---just slow lab workers.

If you believe in free will & God then yes God is just a spectator. If you believe in predetermined destiny and that God has layed your path out in life then God is an active participant in everything you do.

Faith is a funny thing and at time is hard not to believe in.
The older I get the more I believe that life is a test.

sup man
I dont know if this is a good idea, cause I always end up going crazy when I talk about this stuff, but im bored so... here we go

god,, wtf is that man..
there is zero proof of his existence..
there are 100's of religions with different rules and different beliefs, that cant be the same god. (IE: muslims believe that god controls everyone's actions, christians believe that we have free will)
Its in our nature to invent a god so that we may explain our existence (look at separate colonies who have no contact, each believes in a god, though not the same god. If however these separate colonies all believed in the same god with the same laws and the same bible, ALL by coincidence, then there might be something there.. but as of now, you might as well believe in santa claus and the tooth fairy as well)

I have a looootlotlotlotlot to say on this topic, but I'll refrain until someone replie with an arguement to start me off >:

To believe in Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour is to truely have faith.
Each day I wake up is a miracle.
Even though I so often take it for granted.

JohnnyO, You seem to be questioning your existance from a Christian and Jewish standpoint. If you are really a homosexual...don't look to these religions for your answers. You are who you are. If you believe in an "all loving God" then you have nothing to worry about. --Your Brother In Iron-- Thor
