No idea... I'm not THAT old.. geez! I know there was a rock star called "The Big Bopper" I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

JohnnyO you nailed it. The Big Bopper was the king of the Hop and that was basically the first big dance event type deal. You could call it a cross between lawrence Welk and a Rave! For those of you who don't know who Lawrence Welk was feel damn lucky! Damn lucky I tell you!
