Ok here's another one. This guy living on the 20th floor in an apartment building got up early each morning to go to work in a downtown store. He always went into the elevator on the 20th floor and rode down to the entrance (1st floor). When he came home he always rode the elevator from the entrance and up to the 8th floor. He walked out of the elevator and walked the stairs up to his apartment on the 20th floor. Why doesn't he take the elevator all the way up to his apartment? | ||

Latimer, He can't reach the button for the 20th floor because he is a midget. On rainy days he can use his umbrella to push the 20th floor button. (Also the presence of Special Bill and a llama in the elevator scares the man so he walks all teh way from teh 1st to 20th floors on those days.) | ||

The purpose of counting the f's: One of average intelligence finds three of them. If you spotted four, you're above average. If you got five, you can turn your nose at most anybody. If you caught six, you are a genius. There is no catch. Many people forget the "OF"'s. The human brain tends to see them as V's and not F's. I counted 3 F's. I guess I'm average. As for the one with the elevator, I didn't get it. So, I e-mailed it to my dad in Las Vegas last nite. My mom called me this morning and told me she didn't appreciate me sending my dad riddles because because he became obsessed with, as my mom put it, "that stupid puzzle", and he stayed up 1/2 the nite trying to figure it out. | ||
