I like thick dogs idea. I also think it's bullshit to fine the guys who do spontaneous celebrations. I don't mind so much when you can tell they've spent hours puting it together. It's usually the jackasses who score once the whole season. It takes away from the emotion and spontanaity of the game. Some of those guys love what they do and should be allowed to show it. ------------------ | ||

I like the guy that hands the ball to the ref and just goes on about his business, like it is no big deal. Giving the impression that he has been there before and plans on coming back. Now on game winning TD and thinks of that nature I do believe in a Team party, but they get penalty for that also. | ||

sportscenter on espn just reported 7 players from the rams were fined a combined 80,000 for doing an endzone dance after a scored tuchdown against minnesota last week called "the bob and weave" | ||

Fining a player is a fucking joke, it is just a way of making money for someone and takes away the fun of the sport. Football is not unlike gladitorial games of ancient Rome. The difference is Gladiators were not pussies and if you fucked up you died. Football, however, has become a sport of rules and regulations that prolongs the game and make it really boring. The XFL has the promise of putting the pain back in the sport and returning football to its glory. I would like to see them bring back the Gladiatorial games myself. | ||

Fining is stupid. Touchdown dances are part of the game, they make it fun. Besides if some dude got a touchdown, he earned the right to flaunt around like he's the shit for a little while. football is about attitude. ------------------ quote: | ||
