Good. Maybe we should put Deion and Desmond Howard in the XFL as full time punt returners!! That should finally get rid of them! LOL!!

They should have a "no intentionally running down the clock" rule. One of the main reasons I don't watch football is that, in such a gruesome physical sport, there are so many pussy rules. WTF is that? Your team is winning so you sit there and waste time for 5 minutes so the other team can't score? Grow some balls and play, thx.

I like the "no fair catch" rule. If you can't take the hit, keep your hands off the ball.

XFL rules... I'll definately be watching that.

YA, BUT I BET THEM RETURNERS WILL LET MORE BALLS HIT AND ROLL... THEY SHOULD "MAKE" THEM ATTEMPT A CATCH.

The difference between the two leagues will be the talent level. I think it will be a good league but they can't compete with the NFL's salaries and revenue. I dont think they will be able to pull and big time talent out of college with $30,000 a year contracts. I think the league talent wise will resemble NFL Europe.

THEY DONT THINK THEY WILL COMPETE WITH THE NFL I DONT THINK, OTHERWISE IT WOULD BE IN THE NFL'S SEASON WOULDNT IT?

THIS IS THE USFL ALL OVER, BUT REMEMBER, ANTHONY CARTER, STEVE YOUNG, HERSHEL WALKER, REGGIE WHITE AND MANY OTHERS WERE USFLers FIRST... THEY HAD SOME FUCKIN TALENT... SAINTS FANS REMEMBER BOBBY HEBERT AS A MICHIGAN PANTHER? STEVE YOUNG WAS A FULL BACK!!! AND ANTHONY CARTER COULD HAVE DOMINATED IN THE NFL YEARS BEFORE HE DID WITH THE VIKINGS...

I think they are doing the same thing on punts that the CFL does. It's not going to be pure suicide. In the CFL you have to give the guy five yards when he touches the ball.

yea rashaan salaam has been a junkie since leaving the nfl. thats partly why he left. when he was injured, he slipped into depression because he couldnt play, and started drinking and doing hard drugs. after his injury was healed up he was a flat out junkie and the bears didnt even want him back. afterwards he had tryouts with a bunch of different teams and they all cut him as well. he was actuallt fighting with tyrone wheatley for a running back job in oakland. now he is in the xfl? i wonder for how long, or if he will be any good. another name i seen on the rosters was jim drukenmiller. he used to qb in miami and san fran, but was charged with raping some chick under 18 or somthin.
