ive hurt my back bad and can't work out for who knows how long...im about three weeks off juice...should i keep eating like a pig?...i was just about to start shedding a little bodyfat...what should my diet be like for a now-sedentary person who doesn't want to shrink or put on excess fat?... | ||

BILLY BOY... I HAVE NOT TRAINED IN NEARLY 10 DAYS FOR REAL... IVE BEEN DOING CARDIO AND I STOPPED GEAR THE DAY I STOPPED TRAINING. I TOOK MY CLOMID AND STARTED SOME ECA TO LOSE FAT, CUZ THERE WAS NO WAY OF BUILDING... I COULDNT TRAIN LEGS (I COULD BARELY WALK) I COULDNT TRAIN ANY UPPER BODY EXCEPT BI'S AND TRIS AND ABS (SHOULDERS ARE FUCKED) SO I SAID FUCK IT.. I KEPT THE PROTEIN DECENT BUT NOT REAL HIGH, AND I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THE SUGAR A BIT MORE. I DONT SEEM TO BE LOSING GAINS, MAYBE WATER BUT THATS IT.. I WAS 249 AND AM NOW 242 (MIDDLE OF DNP SO I WILL BE DOWN TO 235) BY MONDAY (AFTER ALL WATER IS GONE). YOU BE FINE, YOUR INJURED... YOU DONT HAVE TOO MUCH YOU CAN DO. IS CARDIO POSSIBLE? IF NOT, JUST REST, RELAX, AND UH "CARB LOAD" FOR A MONTH SERIOUSLY THOUGH, YOU "CANT" DO ANYTHING, DONT STRESS ABOUT IT, STRESS WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE. YOUR NOT GOING TO SHRINK UP... | ||

just keep your protein up 2 times your bodyweight. you should maintain your muscularity. update me what you did to your back. get better brother, and listen to your body. you will be back stronger than ever. ------------------ | ||

If at all possible see if you can ride the bicycle and do a little cardio. I'd eat as much protein as you can possbily consume without throwing up and go low-moderate fat and low carbs for 3-4 days in a row and one day where you go somewhat high carbs then repeat to keep your metabolism off balance. | ||

You should start beating your pud more so that you can keep some upper body definition. It is critical that you master the mid stroke hand shift so that you won't become unbalanced. ------------------ | ||

Sound advice from all. Silly Bill, chill and let your back heal. You might lose a bit of mass, perhaps - SO WHAT. If you do not allow your injury to heal properly you will be in much worse shape. I know it sucks, but just deal. Enjoy the little hiatas from training and when you are well enough to get back into the gym - hammer your sorry ass! :O Because you will be sedentary you should adjust your diet accordingly unless you mind a little "winter blanket". Try to participate in active rest if you can....walking, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, y'know stuff like that. I'm thinkin' about ya and your poor widdel hurt back , what can I do to cheer you up? ------------------ | ||

Billy on the real, keep your diet the same, diet is more important than training, keep your protein high, above 350 if you can, peace ------------------ | ||

Im with smokedawg, you shouldnt even try to cut up right now, you can piss all that new muscle goodbye (along with some fat). Eat man, eat a whole lot, and make sure most of its clean. Diet is the key, training is a secondary. Let me holla at yo' pasty calves: on da reals: sorry about the thug-bonics but seriosuly you might want to consider GOING ON A LOW DOSE OF AS (bridge) until your able to get back in the gym, this will ensure that you will keep your muscle during this down time, if you do that and eat clean and right, you wont look like you missed a beat! Yeah Billy you wanta see me hobble around on my right knee. Cortizone!!! Can screw you big time. Takes the swelling away and the pain. Then you think everything is great and go f yourself worse than before. Do them just realize that it helps but doesn't fix it. Still takes time to heal. | ||
