My is musclemag, and ironman. What do you guys think about those magazines? I like musclemag because they have good articles about steroids, and I like ironman because they have good articles about training. That's my 2 cents. Let me know what you guys and gals think.

I agree. the bias totally sucks, but what can you do? I find they almost motivate me when I not doing so well. Other than putting up with the adds, their my picks too. ------------------

I think they all suck I used to read them all then I realized they were all so full of bullshit. If there were a mag that actually discussed real information , CYCLES/NUTRITION, etc insted of this celltech bullshit I would buy that one.

I can't stand the biased B.S. either...PUMP is actually real good if you can find it...although it promotes SoCal supplements throughout....no worse than Flex and Muscle/Fitness promoting Weider and Musclemag promoting Muscletech....

I've read PUMPED, it's about the best out there as far as truth goes, but still pretty weak IMO.

I like Muscular Development for its sport related articles and featuring pro athletes of all sports.

Ironman. All the others try to make up for their lack of good information with photos of fitness girls (Musclemag, PUMP), 'hardcore' steroid information (PUMP), pandering to the general fitness/Men's Health-type population (Muscle Media, Muscular Development), posting pictures and gossip of the pro scene (Flex), or advertising their products (Musclemag, sometimes PUMP). Ironman is the only serious bodybuilding magazine for natural trainers that has given me good results-producing routines and programs. Positions of Flexion, High-Intensity, Breathing Squats, Heavy-Light training, Training Cycling...everything they publish is pure gold. Plus the guys on their covers don't have bloated roid gut (Flex, Musclemag, PUMP), but they're not skinny fags either (Muscle Media, Muscular Development). Muscle and Fitness would be good if only they came up with something new once in a while...

When you're all-natural, and just getting into bodybuilding, I think all of them (FLEX being the best) should be read...but once you start juicing, and learn the basics of bodybuilding, THEY ALL SUCK!! Save your hard earned $$ and either buy juice or just more food...just my 2 cents... ------------------

how the hell could anybody like Muscle Media? and actually pay for reading a +300 page commercial? if all the celltech, greg zulac's and other bullshit commercials were taken off from that mag, how many pages there would be? 30? roid articles are cool, i agree on that, but there's just too much of bullshit on that mag. it makes me wanna puke.. i think flex is almost worth your money. Guys, mine goes a little more towards Health, Oxygen, & Fitness which are more directed to the "fitness" portion of it. I do occasionally pick up an issue of Flex or Ironman - depending on the articles that might apply to me. I do buy them for my hubby and sometimes read them in this way, too. Occasionally, I learn things, and sometimes it's stuff I already know ------------------ |
