Put in 12 hours today at work. 6am-6pm. Gotta do it again tomorrow too. Its pretty damn bad when I gotta get up earlier on the weekends than I do on weekdays for school. Its pretty damn taxing on my body too. Completly exhausted. Just keep telling myself it'll pay off when I get my Christmas bonus and don't get laid off when the season ends. ------------------     | ||

well i will be in the same postion as you... i work 40 hrs a week and am going to start school in Jan. at about 30 hrs a week.. it's going to be hard... and the gym in there as well... its going to be hard!!! But it'll pay off in the future... aky ------------------ | ||

I feel your pain! After an "uprising" attempt on my job a couple years ago, we payed for our disobediance by working 6am-6pm monday through friday, and 7am-3pm saturday and sunday for about 6 weeks! By the end we were at each others throughts and ready to kill anyone who looked at us funny... Those bastards! ------------------ | ||

I ain't crying I love my job, but I ain't a grown man. If I were I wouldn't care cause thats my main priority. Oak I'm making money man, but no time to spend it. Damned if ya do damned if ya don't situation.  Garza, grocery stores blow when it comes to working there. When I started at the Acme a couple months back they said I would be a stock boy. Mother fuckers made me a bagger and never moved me up. Then other situations occurred and I left. Just make sure anything they tell you is written or they'll dick ya in the ass harder than Special Bill on a virgin llama. Monster, what kind of "uprise" did you guys attempt? ------------------ | ||

Well, without going into tons of details, we were tricked into working 16 hour days 3 or 4 days a week and 8 hour days for the remaining for the remainder of the weekdays with the proise of having the weekend off. We got screwed several times, and after busting our balls for 16 hours monday through thursday and 8 hours friday, we get forced in on the weekend for 8 hours each day. So I started stirring everyone up and we stuck together and told 'em to shove the 16 hours a day up their asses! We're only working 8! (they cant force 16, you can only be held over 4 hours max. and only when "neccessary"... THEY decide if its neccessary...). So they get mad that we screwed em and announce that we're going to 12 hours for monday through friday, and then they keep scheduling us on the weekend. It was a bitch. So I organized everyone and we had work slowdowns and unexplainable stoppages and breakdowns and assorted craziness. Eventually they backed off, and we eased up to where we work 8 hours monday through friday, and have every other sunday off, sometimes we'll get a saturday and sunday off. Its good money, but what good is it if you cant spend it??? ------------------ | ||
