Arizona would be one of the last places I'd want to live. Just because of that heat. Yeah they say it's dry heat but that thermometer goes through the roof in the spring, summer, and early fall. I like a little snow now and again.

Were you with a Hornet squadren or the Harrier's? The heat isn't all that bad and snow is only 2 hours north on I-17 in Flagstaff, AZ Can't wait, will be leaving on the 20th and will be offline for about a week or so. Then it is dsl/cable modem all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was with harriers. hornets would have been a dream if i stayed in. so easy to work on and they have all the good duty stations and deployments. hehe. oh and dsl is the way to go. hehe.

Yeah, fixed wings is great. I grounded an entire training squadron for dicking with their tire gauges (the ones that put the air in the tires) Apparently the pilots didn't want to wait for the tires to inflate properly so the mechanics were told to undo the pressure relief pop off valve so the tires would inflate faster. I warned them once and they did it again, so I downed the squadron until all pressure gauges were recalibrated and all tires on the hornets were refilled/checked. Not bad for a SGT. Yes, you get to tear them up if you are a mechanic. I was 3rd level calibrations.

LIVE IN FLAGSTAFF!!!! I lived there when my parents split up a while ago and it's AMAZING!!! I guess that'd be a long commute, but maybe it could work out...the weather and clmiate is AMAZING...take your girl/wife down to Sedona for a day of shopping, she'll love it...the Grand Canyon's very cool, too, if you've never been before...and there are lots of other canyons like Walnut, too, that are great for hiking and stuff...drop me an e-mail if you've got more questions, I really loved it there!!! BigNate...are you a t-sip?? I won't hold it against you, Natymike is one, too...hehehe!! ------------------
