i've recently met and befriended another guy who i suspect may be gay. he's asian and i am quite attracted to minorities and am even accused of being a "rice queen", but i'm not looking to hook up with him, i just wanna' know what's up.

anyway, i'm wondering how i can go about finding out from him what his sexuality is without first revealing my own. he's very quiet and doesn't go out...he may even be a closeted virgin as i was when i was his age (28)!

my only clues are that he kinda' touched me a bit inappropriately a coupla' times (though they COULD have been innocent) and the fact that there's no girl in his life, etc. he doesn't "act" gay at all, though.

any suggestions?

2. If he gets Showtime, ask him what he thought of Queer as Folk. If he says they went to far, he's straight. If he says they didn't go far enough, he's gay.

3. Ask him where he buys his clothes. If he says Banana Republic, he's gay. If its Sears, he's straight.

4. Tell him he has a piece of paper stuck to the bottom of his shoe. If he looks down, pulls his leg up and bends it at 90 degrees, he's straight. If he looks back over his shoulder while bending his leg backwards at the knee, he's gay.

5. Tell him to check his fingernails. If he looks at the back of his hand, he's straight. If curls his fingers (like putting his hand around a beer can), he's gay.

6. Ask him how much he spends for a haircut. If its more than $15, he's gay.

7. Ask him if he goes likes to go clubbing. If he says, yeah, he's gay. Straight guys don't say "clubbing".

8. Ask him if subscribes to any magazines. If yes, which ones. If its Esquire, he's straight. If its Vanity Fair, he's gay.

9. Ask him where the nearest Pottery Farm is located. If he knows, he's gay.

10. Be a man. Tell him you're attracted to him and ask him if the feeling is mutual.

btw: I'm not gay, nor in "the closet" I've had a foursome, 2guys 2girls: was not interested in the guy at all. infact it was kinda weird, but at least I can say I did it when I'm 80yr old sipping on Jack Daniels.
