CUZ LAST TIME I GAVE 1 MONTH, I WAS FIRED WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS. THE REASON WAS BECAUSE THEY DIDNT "THINK" I WOULD CONTINUE TO WORK HARD. SO IF I GIVE 2 WEEKS AND GET FIRED THIS TIME I WOULD BE OUT AT LEAST 800 BUCKS, AND THAT MY FRIENDS WOULD MAKE IT VERY TOUGH TO MOVE BACK TO MICHIGAN... HELL, IT WOULD DOWN RIGHT SCREW ME OVER.. I CANT RISK THIS HAPPENING, I NEED EVERY PENNY I CAN GET TO MOVE HOME CUZ U-HAUL ROBS MOTHER FUCKERS MOVING OUT OF STATE... 400 DOLLARS CUZ I "NEED" THE TRUCK FOR 4 DAYS TO GO 8 HOURS... BULLSHIT!!! I NEED THE TRUCK FOR A DAY, OR TWO TOPS!!! THEY DONT SEE IT LIKE THAT.     | ||

not giving notice is your best plan of action unless it put a severance or golden parachute in jeopardy , alot of people aresurprised when they give 2 weeks notice only to be followed back to there office , handed a cardboard box for there personal items and walked to the parking lot . | ||

Madbomber, we are walking parallel paths! Fuck the 2 weeks, you are a number in the system. I have been thinking the same thing. I am looking for a new job and was going to give notice but my boss would flip out and can me anyway. 2 minute notice is better. | ||

BULLSHIT, I AM TELLING THEM 2 DAYS AFTER I AM GONE PLAN IS TO GO BACK TO MICHIGAN JUST BEFORE XMAS (EITHER THE FRIDAY BEFORE OR THE MONDAY BEFORE) AND TELL THEM AFTER I AM THERE. 2 WEEKS IS SHIT UNLESS YOUR SECURE FOR THEM 2 WEEKS... THESE PEOPLE DONT NEED ME, WERE SLOW. AND I DONT THINK THEY LIKE ME (I AM A YANKEE, ITS JUST THE TRUTH). SO ME TELLING THEM ANYTHING IS JUST NOT IN MY BEST INTEREST.
MAYBE IF I RENTED A VAN FOR LIKE 50 DOLLARS A DAY I WOULD BE BETTER OFF, BUT THEN HOW WOULD I GET MY TRUCK UP NORTH? I'D JUST RENT A TRAILOR BUT MY BUMPER IS BENT FUCKING UNDER MY TRUCK DUE TO SOME COCKSUCKING POTHEAD WHO REAR ENDED ME.. | ||

Look at it this way, if they are going to fire you they won't give you any notice so why should you give them any? The place I work now, every person that gave a 2 weeks notice were let go that same day. When its time for me to quit I'm not giving any notice. | ||

I went into my old job to get an evaluation sheet for the prior month signed for school and to put in my 2 weeks. Motherfuckers refused to sign it. They said theyd have to talk to my bigger boss. I told them to get his ass down there. They walked away, got on the phone, came back 5 minutes later and said they could either do nothing or just write quit on it and not sign it. I said "No heres what you'll do. You'll write quit on it and you will sign it. Before I started working here you entered a contract saying you will sign my evaluation sheets when it came time for you to sign it. Cause if you don't I'll get in trouble and if I get in trouble you can bet your ass I'll get this company in trouble and have a nice little law suit for you for breach of contract." The look on that motherfucker's face was priceless. He signed the paper and I left. Only go back to that place (supermarket) to make a cash deposit in the bank in there. I was #3 at a radio shit store, I HATED the manager I had to endure. I gave him 4 days, and he was pissed of. To fucking bad he rode my ass for nothing, and my coworkers knew it. He is damned lucky he not on my shit list of things to do before I die. All of my coworkers came up to me 15 mins before we closed and told me that they agreed and totally understand my reason for leaving. Blow them off if you can with out screwing a referance from them.
