Don't do them as much now that I'm not playing football but still do them twice a month. When I played the most I did was 310 pounds three times. Now I do hang cleans and am five years older I work up to sets of five with 300. I do it on shoulder days because it's killer for my traps. Best lift there is for athletes.

I have been doing them for a few months, but still can't get the form down. I do them differently for bodybuilding. I basically do not do the squat part of the motion. I do them for back and shoulders, which I train on the same day. I drive the weight up as hard as I can from the floor into an upright row, leaning back a little, then shooting my elbows fwd under the bar in front of me. This finished my clean movt. I know that this is not correct, but it works for me. Maybe it is not a clean. Maybe it is a strange full high-pull or something, but I love them. Builds power and shooting strength on my deads.

careful of your wrists. i have been out of commision for arm training for 2 months now from doing them. i couldnt supinate my wrist for almost a month and a half and my wrist would pop when i tried. im almost back to normal now but very scary when it happened. i stick to nonballistic movements now.
