Blockbuster sucks!! I stoped there last night, after chesty reminded me that it was out for sale, to get teh VHS version. Well they only had the DVD and said the VHS wasn't out. But I just went to the website and it has been release. Anyone know who has it? ------------------     | ||

The blockbuster in my area had it on VHS..though we got the DVD...you get a cool litho with it of Russell running through the Roman guards...mmm...I looove Aussie men. | ||

Braveheart was a pathetic, predictable, boring movie. Pacifist gone psycho cause his wife got wacked by the same people he refused to fight for independence. Then, he starts killing people because she got whacked, but uses the excuse that it is for freedom. Please, give me a break, there were only a couple of scenes worth watching anyway. Like when arms and legs were getting chopped off. Otherwise it was a real snoozer. | ||

lEAPIN lIZARDS....how can anyone say Braveheart was a boring movie???? It was excellent.....I wouldn't attempt to compair braveheart with gladiator because they or very different in how they made me feel...although both Mel and Russel made me feel the same...alll tingly and.....anyhow...back to my point...Braveheart was great.... Rotten...do you know how many movies I have on VHS...I dont' want to switch over...hell I got ride of all the 8 tracks and that was a bad move...I'm not doing it again...nope | ||

I've got a ton of VHS too, but VHS is being phased out. You can have both. Plus all the extras on a DVD make it worth it alone. | ||

I really felt that Braveheart, while the acting was impeccable, just had no substance. I was expecting more. I did identify with Maximus in Gladiator much more so than I could with Mel's character in Braveheart. I am a tough cookie to please. Shags I sent you the info you requested. | ||

Rotten...I can have both???...but I like my VHS....if I DVD I'd probably get hooked and neglect my VHS and I just can't deal with that....my Austin Powers VHS has been with me since the beginning of time...poor little tape...it keeps snaping when it rewinds back  | ||

Once you experience DVD with a sound system in digital surround at home you will never give vhs a second look. DVD is to VHS as the modern computer is to an Abacus. | ||

I have a nasty confession.......I hate surround sound in a house.....did I just say that out loud??!!....true...only in the theaters...everwhere I've heard it in a house I hate it....annoys the shit out of me for some werid reason | ||

If you have the right system for the type of house your in and it is properly set up it is as every bit as good as the theater, even more so, with a 110 inch front projection screen. | ||
