Few nights ago I was at the Anger Management tour: Slipknot, DMX, Godsmack, Limp Bizkut, right there in Houson, Texas. All you guys need to slam in the mosh pit at least once in your life.     | ||

Ive to alot of concerts and yes i love the mosh pits.Korn, slipknot and soulfly concerts have some of the most hardcore pits i ever been in...  | ||

BEST PIT EVER... PEARL JAM IN TORONTO.. OUT DOOR CONCERT 45K PLUS... I GOT THROUGHT THE CROWD AND WAS FRONT AND CENTER FOR THE REST OF THAT BITCH... ITS FUN THROWING PEOPLE OUT WHEN THEY LOOK AT YOU LIKE "HELP ME". | ||

Any chance I get -- mostly smaller shows though. Slipknot is from my hometown, we used to mix it up in their pits before they got big. Billy Goat always had good pits. Also Shuvel, Stuck Mojo, 35" Mudder and Painface. The thing I don't like is that today there are too many ignorant fuckers getting in pits -- too many people just there to jack up other people, it used to be more of a copasetic activity, everybody jammed, but nobody was out to intentionally hurt people and the ones that were were dealt with very quickly. In todays pits, I end up putting people in headlocks, shoving them across the floor, throwing elbows, headbutting, etc... Still a good time, but much more violent than it used to be -- I still prefer just to go and have a good time without too much violent contact... ------------------ | ||

Showing my age, we used to "slam dance", being an old punk rock fan, did it a several good shows-tsol,corrosion of conformity,government issue,social distortion,back when punk was punk.....nowadays I hear they call it "a mosh pit"...with bands like pimp lipstick and korn and many other shit bands, they can copy an original but never come close to the way it was, fuck this new shit, long live the great bands of the punk era.....flame if you must, I could give a fuck, my opinion and i'm gonna voice it.....peace out to my punk rock bro's....... ------------------ | ||
