skywalker and 2 thick replied to me in a different post about joint pain and body weight... is it universal? i have read that the knee joint is unable to adapt to the heavier loads it carries after puberty. is it just the bones or is it ligaments and tendons as well? i have been having a hard time even sitting lately without using something to lean on... i cant imagine my next leg day. it seems that their are many prices to pay for gear... oh, one more question... is it the rate at which the gains were made (on gear) or does it matter if it takes 6 weeks or 6 years? | ||

How much weight are we talking? Your over 6 foot and weigh 240 so your frame should easily support that no problem. I'm 5'10 and weigh 260-270 and my lower back and cardio are get destroyed if I put on weight too quick.. plus I'm about at the limit of what my body can hold. Give your body sometime to adjust to the new weight.

I hear you Iron God. 6'2", 290lbs and it is hard for me to do cardio. First of all my legs rub together when I walk and the treadmill is not really wide enough for me to walk on. I have better than 30" thighs. This is not always great. As far as your knees go, take a break from heavy weights and try to take as much strain from your knees as possible for a few weeks. See if they improve. B True |
