fuck that... rule of thumb of mvp's should be this... "without this player, the team would be not nearly as good"... with that said... brad johnson was doing it, then randall was doing it, then george was doing it, and now culpepper... anyone with nfl ability could lead this team... moss carter and smith are the keys. before it was reed but then moss stepped in... they do not have an mvp on this team, except maybe moss cuz he is jesus christ in black skin. an mvp to me is peyton manning, or a dan marino of old, or a walter payton, or a brett favre of old, or a rich gannon (yuck), you get my point... faulk goes in this too, cuz without him the rams are not nearly as good.... but not culpepper... please, not culpepper.

I agree he's not mvp material at the moment. Everyone was talking shit about him before the season started. I think he's done a good job for Minnesota so far. I was cracking up when Moss was bitching at him on Thursday. You're absolutely right about the other QB's doing well in Minny. It'll be interesting to see how he fares down the road.

My vote for mvp right now is hands down rich gannon. Without him that team would be a 500 team, he has won so many games. As far as culpepper, i think he certainly has to be a canidate. He is essentially a rookie, putting up some of the best numbers in the league. Yes he has a great supporting cast, but he is a completely new mold of qb. You could say the same for faulk, he has a lot of people around him. He is a great player though, and as far as this year, so is daunte. Gannon has my vote though.

Faulk is the MVP hands down. You can't say something like yea well, there are so many weapons on that team. It doesn't work that way for a Running back, MF is just good, plain and simple. The Rams are a 500 team without him, the dude gets at least 2 TD's a game and that just should not happen. It doesn't matter who he is playing, he will run all over them, or recieve all over them. He is the best player in the leauge, thus he is the MVP in my book. Also, in fantasy ball, even after missing some games, he is still killing every one else in points. ------------------

Faulk is the best offensive player in football. No one can touch him.

faulk is, i would say... the only other person i can see who impacted his team like marshal is actually moss. but my question is this, why the fuck does this guy only put on a serious show on primetime games/big games? he even said it himself that he wants to "go out and show who he is"... why not every week and every down? seems like thats what seperates him from faulk. ------------------

Maybe Im biased because Im a Minnesotan, but I think Randy Moss should get it, anyone who can catch a ball while being triple covered is something else

Faulk is the best offensive player. But at the same time, he wouldnt be putting up these numbers without all the players around him. He didnt do it in indy. I think hes great, dont get me wrong, i just think the overall MVP for their team this year has been gannon. Faulk hasnt won games for them. Gannon has.

i have now formed a somewhat biased somewhat non biased opinion on this matter... my vote is now DONOVAN MCNABB... without him the eagles are 3-13 (again). instead he has won 3 of the last 4 games alone. and i would say no other player in the league is as important as him. look at the other weapons around all other playoff teams... tim brown, jett, wheatley, dudley... moss carter smith rams entire offensive cast the new triplettes in indy wycheck and george with mcnair.. etc... its mcnabb and only mcnabb in philly! i dont expect him to win it, but he deserves consideration

You see when he went to line up as a WR and Wsh didn't know what to do? Had a good laugh as Washington had confusion and called a time out.

Donavan McNab. The EAGLES would be 2-11 without him. ------------------ |
