I really don't know what to get my boyfriend for Christmas. I haven't seen him in over 7 months and haven't talked to him on the phone in about 6 months. We only keep in touch through the mail and he won't tell me what he wants. He said all he wants is to see me. Awwwww! Anyways, I already got him a shirt at Anchor Blue but I want to get him something special yet. I just don't know what. For his birthday last year I got him an I.D. Bracelet. To me, any gift someone else can recommend is to "generic". You have to know the person and use that to pick something. Years ago, a special someone did just that for me! Ive gotten all kinds of gifts over the years, from run of the mill to outrageously expensive... jewlery, clothes, coats, you name it. But this person knew me, and knew I write a lot (its not that I hide the fact, its just that she took the time to see that). For my birthday she got me a fine point Mont Blanc! Not only was it the "right" gift, but she went so far as to see what type of tip I perfer to write with by checking other pens I use! The clothes, the jewlery... it all ends up collecting dust on the most part, but Ive kept that pen for all these years! Of course that level of effort isnt suited to EVERYBODY you give gifts to, but for people who are special to you, the extra effort shows! ------------------ | ||
