I just read some posts about how a statement of how many blacks voted for gore is racist and about some other posts that I will not go into. I am just concerned about the fact that we are on a chat board that is free and we should be able to post are thoughts and opinions without derogatory comments by others. Such as being called racist. If we were to take a look at the different races represented here we would find that probably most of those of the world are here. We should be able to discuss any topic without envoking irrational and irresponsible remarks. That being said...     | ||

I was tired of political posts by that time and probably ignored it, but if someone says that 99% of gays voted for gore I wouldn't be offended.. that's just a statement of fact... I'm not sure how the racism is coming into play here. | ||

I just read that same post, maybe i am missing something, I must admit I dont click on every topic but I havent seen anything overtly rascist since pizza man, that joke thread maybe, but its not like it was picking on any one race, every race was getting slammed (once again I didnt really read all of that thread but still). Yeah I agree with you Chesty. Some jackass called me racist when I made a post about the people who voted for Gore. Then, someone had the nerve to delete my post without any explanation. My comment was no where near racist... but this jackass thought it was. I was just stating facts...I guess some people cant except that. People are so quick to judge and its starting to piss me off | ||

Lets see, to point out any form of social action based on a persons, creed, origin, race or color is RACIST! THATS WHY! I just read Kadafi's post about brr and others leaving. I read almost all of the posts from the other board. I see people are pissed off at madbombers "racist slurs" post. I dont see it the way that do. The ONLY way we can ever get rid of racism is to bring it out and joke about it. To hide from it and ignore it like it never existed will never get the problem solved. I didnt read the "93% of blacks voted for Gore" so i cant really comment on that. but, I heard those numbers on the news and I cant see how that is racist...its a fact, and thats all it is peace | ||

For those who want to know what racism and hate is about do a search on the Ayran Nation and read those links. Do a search on Nazism and read those links. I have spent years on the sheriff's department an on the gang unit and have had to study racism and so forth to be effective in my job. So I think I know a little something about the subject. Okay to play your game - I would say that the population of asians far outnumbers millionares by something in the neighberhood of, oh lets say, 250,000 to 1. Maybe I'm off by a few but thats a geuss! Wodin- But, you cant account for all the millionaires...only the 20 that you know. I know 3 millionaires personally, and am good friends with 2 of them. The 3rd is the owner of the company i work for. Yeah he fits ur descrition of how you see a millionaire....hes an asshole. The other 2 are really good honest people. but still...theres over 100,000 millionaires in the USA alone. You can find whatever you look for! Racism is getting to be an excuse and a cruch. Sure, it exists. I'm from Ga. and have many, many friends that are of a different race. Some are more successful than I and some equal. ( some less than I) In this country, any driven, moral, hard working American can be successful. If you want to believe this is a white mans world then although you would be in error, you'll be dragging an anchor. I now live in Idaho(falsely believed to be very racist) and the most successful person I know is black. The #1 agent with the firm I worked for when I lived in Oklahoma was from Lebanon. This was during the Gulf War! Both these individuals are super successful because they are not limited by anyone. They choose not to play the race card. | ||

Chris Rock and Larry Elder said it best--"Black people are more racist than white people" this is not hard to see, all you have to do is look at the NAACP, their whole viewpoints deal with hating white people, and looking for free handouts for blacks simply because they are black. The only "RACIST" white people are in the fucking KKK, but shit, according to alot of blacks, most of the white population is racist. I could go on for hours on how I fucking hate how alot of blacks claim racial prejudice because they did not get their way in life. Ok this post has gone to shit, but good question Chesty, the problem is that only each person can answer it for themselves. I would like all of you to truly look within yourselves and think about your hates and dislikes, you in your heart know whether or not you dislike people because of the color of thie skin or because you have been hurt by people of that race before. well guess what! as much as you try to hide it sooner or later it will come out in your writing. You yourself know if you are preajudice or racist, and the reason you know is because you make bullshit excuses to yourself as to why you dislike a race or creed, you try to justify to your self that you hate black people because you where mugged by one, or becuase they got into College with lower grades than you. Yes I think SOME people here are Racist and I think MOST people here are preajudice. I don't feel like attacking anybody here personaly but there have been several post made with content wich would be offensive to blacks, just because you don't call somebody a Nigger to their face it does not mean you are not racist, it just means that law prohibits you from dressing up in white sheets for the purpose of linching somebody. Now that goes to the subject of why would the "93% of black voted for Gore" post is racist, the conclusion that was drawn up by the crowd was that blacks where voting for gore for 2 reasons: 1-Blacks are uneducated I have quoted some peole here, but before you go on to read this I would like to ask you to take the following into consideration:: SOME THE BROS THAT I HAVE QUOTED HERE ARE PEOPLE WHOM I LIKE VERY MUCH AND COMMUNICATE WITH OUTSIDE OF ELITE, I'M NOT TRYING TO SAY THESE PEOPOPLE ARE RACIST OR PREAJUDICE, I'M JUST TRYING TO MAKE A POINT AS TO WHY BLACKS ON THE BOARD WOULD FEEL OFFENDED.

I admit I haven't followed and don't know anything about the current US presidential election because I'm not American. But one thing is blatantly obvious to me. The mere fact that there is a statistic somewhere that tells you that 95% of black Americans voted for somebody (anybody)is a sign of deeply ingrained rascism in your culture. I assume this means that on each and every election form voters were asked to categorize themselves by race? And if not, then that means that someone in an official position went out and polled different ethnic groups about their voting. Either way it is rascism in the purest form. Democratic voting should be a totally anonymous affair, with no concern for race, creed, religion or gender. Peace. | ||

I take no offense BRR, just a few more days or less to find out who won! I stand by my comments. I am not a racist in any way, prejudice sure, but we all are to a degree. I guess the whole point is why is one race more sensitive than another in comments. It is the reactions that fuel the fire. The more I might say about a subject and the more response I get the more I say. See the idea? We should be able to say whatever we want and not be afraid of offending someone (absent derogatory comments). It is a name or a comment, and unless the shoe fits... We have election poles that ask each voter coming out who they voted for. It is quite obvious if you are white and voted for Bush or black and voted for Gore. | ||

BRR. Take my statement the way you will. I do not feel that was a racist statement and the way I feel about is really the only thing that counts. As you may know I work a second job at UPS and the guy in the truck next to me Nelson is a young guy that I really like. We work together well. We help each other brake jams from the boxes on the slide and when one of us is doing okay we will climb in the others truck and help. I also take him to the bus stop after work every night. Before I started working there he was walking 1 1/2miles to the bus stop after 4 or 5 hrs of hard ass work. I could not believe somebody never offered him a ride. Guess what Nelson is a black man(19years old) and working at UPS to put himself through college. I don't like many things and when people say the man is out to get them it really pisses me off!!!!!!!!!!!1 | ||

I stand by my statements, if someone is offended then its their right to be offended. I speak my mind when it comes to "racial discrimination" because I don't believe their is racial discrimination. For someone like recomme to say I don't like black people because I speak my mind is ignorance. I am for equal opportunity, the goal of the NAACP is not equal opportunity, the goal is to give blacks special priveledges because of their color, and if they do not get the benefits, then its discrimination. ------------------ |
