While a grad student at Yale University in the 1980's, Ajoy Velayudhan developed a scalable system of numerical models to describe ion exchange chromatography. Using Ajoy's numerical models, industry was able to economically develop industrial scale ion-exchange whey protein purification. Thus, due to a tall slender man from India who never lifted a weight in his life, the modern era of protein powder was born. Now you know the rest of the story.... so to speak.    | ||
