Who hates the annual family get-togethers? They're more like oppurtunities to inspect and silently (or openly) critisize. Especially now that I won't eat thanksgiving or christmas dinner I have to hear the standard bullshit: <nasal voice> "Whhhhyy aren't ya gonna eaaat that?" SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!! I know how you feel bro. Every thanksgiving my family is the first to arrive at my grandparents house. As a result I'm always victimized by my grandfather to go out to his work shop and check out his latest power tool which I could really give a shit about. He's like a boring dipshit version of Bob Vila. Maybe from now on when he comes to my house I'll take him to the basement and show him my gear collection.  ------------------ | ||

We're havin Thanksgiving at my house this year, like always. Typical shit will happen. They all wind up fightin by the end of the meal while I just sit there and shake my head (the one on my shoulders) in my hand. At least there will be sweet potatoes though and football. ------------------ | ||

Now that I have money on my side. I normally take vacation over the holidays. If not thanksgiving / Christmas. Couldn't bite my tounge anymore. We go off to the beach and get away from the BS. Last year was Jamaica. This year I'm going to my father in laws which is alot better than my own family. | ||

damn, I kinda feel sorry for you guys. fuk dieting during the holidays, Im eat'n. Until you loose that loved one, mother, father, gradparent or whatever, then you might know what its like not to have that complaing, loud, obnoxious family around you, specially dur'n the holidays. I used to be like yall, couldnt fuk'n stand it, then I lost my pops, and I never had a gramps to show his new cool tools... wish I had. so go ahead and complain, youll change your tune sometime. probably when your old and no comes to see you cuz your an old grouch. | ||

Gil- Don't get me wrong - you just don't know my family. I'd give a nut to have my grandfather back. (I have most of his tools and learned from him how to work with my hands - its humbling to work with tools that are over twice as old as you are. Also know he used them before you were born) I would walk thru hell for my father. My mom makes me wanta to puke and we have never gotten along. My brother married my X and she is a big pain in the ass. She is always starts shit up and my mother gets all pist when I respond back. Oh - over the years I have busted some shit up. The family pretty much has learned that I'll kick thier heads in to. My father just laughs his ass off and tells them to quit pissing me off. Then reply's that I'm his son. So I'll take the in-laws or the beach any day. | ||

Yeah - my Bro was my best friend in the world. Makes it hard. I had dumped the bitch like 5 years earlier. She told me that she would be a part of the family not matter what. My mom liked her so she was always hanging out and shit. I play her like a dirty rag. She would show up every weekend and give my dates hard times and shit. And if I didn't have one well I'd role her. Then she would be like were going out again right - what the fuk are you thinking girl. Well my brother was in the service and I thought that she was history. He came home about five years after that shit and BAM she was on him like a cheap suit. He has never been one to say no. He got screwed. Anyhow about three months into the realtionship - he want to know what I did to her. I just laughed my ass off. What do you say. Anyhow she wouldn't tell him and niether would I. Not that he has any room. He was with like five chic when he first got together with her. I should tell her that he was getting this other chic and then coming back to have her suck his memeber. Any way - she stuck him and lives to fuk with me. My brother has even noticed that there are more picture of me with his kids than him. She is always taking pictures and the vid camera. Anyway thier kid is really cool and I go out of my to spoil him. Just wish the girl would learn what not to say. She has some major jealousy going on and I have been with my girl 14 year now and she can't stand it. We are really starting to get somewhere with our efforts and that just adds to it. It is just amazing how old this shit is and she won't let it die. |
