Right now it's between the Solara and the Sebring.

I love Toyota and I really like the Solara.

The new Sebring's are nice and my friend's GF has one and loves it- but sorry, I don't take girls opinions on cars because I love to speed around and make sharp turns

I was going to wait for the Toyota Highlander- it's a bigger version of the Lexus SUV, but who knows.

I really love Toyota. The new Maxima is nice too. Ahhhh, decisions, decisions...

I have the new Maxima... that car is godly. If you decide to grab that one, you won't be disappointed. Just don't get the GXE. People will look at ya and go: "Lol... cheap bastard."

My mom drives a Sebring and they are not made w/ taller people in mind. I don't know how the control is for it, cause I only drive my car, my dad's Cavalier, and after we fix the transmission his 57' Bel Air.

Hey H.

I had a '96 Sebring Lxi and it was a pretty good car. Eventually the electrical system and transmission went buggy -- but it was good up to about 75,000 miles. It was a good car overall. Comfy, stylish, etc... I just wouldn't plan on driving it for a LONG, LONG time... get rid of it once you start getting into the higher mileage ranges... I drove it through the desert, mountains, snow, out to LA (I'm in the Midwest) and it did fine.

I currently drive a PT Cruiser LE.

sorry to offend anyone in this thread, but c'mon the sebring is more of a chick car. the solara is, too, although not to the same extent. if you do decide on either of these cars, be sure and get one in black or some dark color as opposed to white cuz that would be truly emasculating. i'd get a maxima, of course i drive one so it's a biased opinion but it's a damn good car. plus you don't look like a chick driving it.

I had a silver hard-top with the premium wheels, driving lights, leather interior, walnut dashboard, cd player, power seats, windows, locks, tilt/slide moonroof.

Didn't look like a chick car at all.

Chick car, I agree on the 2000 and pre-Sebrings- but the 2K1 is completely remodeled.

And how dare you defame the name of the Solara! That car has "pissed off man" written all over it, hehe.

OK, I'll throw these into the mix- Jaguar S-Type (if I can get a good deal on insurance I'm getting it), Audi A4 or A6, Nissan Pathfinder.

Anyone?

Mr H if you can afford a freaking S-type than holy shit go for that. That is a truly pimp car. If I could get any car right now below $40K I would get that new Lexus IS300 in either a dark blue, green, or black. I used to want an Audi TT until I saw that Lexus. Those 17" rims and clear rear taillights really make that car look good.
But if you are deadset on either the Solara or the Sebring, then go for it. I'm sure there'll be plenty of room for your purse in there. j/k
