BM....4'11" Haze....choda...we've been at the Elmo prob a half a dozen times this year, the Kathedral on Queen Street twice, 360, Oasis, Twiggy's, JJQ's in Etobicoke, and "BeanStock" in Guelph (that was a laugh), and some all ages gig up in CaledonEAst this past weekend..the boonies for sure. Actually - these are old pictures....they were taken when I was still small and hard (not that I'm huge now by any stretch of the imagination). I was about 108# (don't know bf%) but the only reason you can see any cuts at all is because of the lighting. The photographer is an EXCELLENT artist that I work w/from time to time. I am now (by comparison) 130#. True my bf is about 17 - 18%, but I am very curvy and shapely....and when I diet down to about 14% the cuts are evident to the naked eye - the lighting now makes me look shredded! At 11%bf....I am GOOD TO GO! The pictures that will be on my website were taken before I got pnuemonia (I was around 14%).....and you will see there is a DEFINITE improvement in my physique.....thanx for giving a shout out sista! ------------------ | ||

Here's another for you "small man" lovers... ENJOY! This pic was taken 2 weeks before I first competed - in APR......after getting fat, putting on some mass - and killing myself to get the fat off. I was about 12% at 116#.

Hey - if there is ANYTHING that I can do to help.....that is so sad. I was there myself, and it is tragic that women feel they have to starve themselves into a negative clothing size to be worthy. You can check me out in the MAR issue of Prevention Magazine - I'm the model they hired for the article "burn more calories while you sleep"....it's about building lean mass in order to speed up metabolism. I haven't read the article, but the movements they had me executing were sound. I'll email you pics....or if there is any other way that I can help, shoot me an email. Thanks BM, Actually last night. I told her the story from one of your past thread. That you spent so much time(years) not growing and when you finally got it together and started to eat that you finally put on the muscle that you have been working so hard for. And that the extra calories in know way went to fat. She trusts me...but it is very hard for her and me. Right now we are in somewhat of a fight. A standoff if you will. I think I am losing though. what does she see... when she looks in the mirror....can't she see the bones... I don't believe she does. | ||

It is so sad when a woman feels so bad about herself that she slowly kills herself...and those that love her can do nothing (or so it seems) to pull her out of that dark hole. Perhaps she might like to email me. I don't know if I can do her any good - I'm no shrink. The thing that helped me most to overcome my self-loathing and eating disorders and all that shit was surrounding myself w/positive female role models and men who supported what I was doing...ie realized that one can not stay "ripped" forever, that it was only for a show or a shoot. Now I am bigger and smoother and more shapely than I have EVER been..and y'know what....IT'S ALL GOOD. I am worth more than the lean little chick posted in the first two pics....they are old photos, I will be happy to post more recent photos....oo wait a minute...I just remembered something. Truth and Beauty are NOT ABSOLUTE.... HOWEVER, Gebadia.....you claim that the first two images posted resembled those of a small man - a "steriod-freak" if you will, one who is too masculine.....and the later images are more acceptable as a feminine ideal. THIS MAKES NO SENSE! In the latter images I have SEVERAL POUNDS MORE IN LEAN BODY MASS. One could argue that the additional bodyfat makes the difference. This is still bullshit! BECAUSE.....the third image has MORE MUSCLE MASS AND BF% are the SAME! The last 3 pics where I have THE MOST MASS AND bodyfat % is the highest and percieved by some to be "the most feminine" - WELL, I STILL HAVE MORE MUSCLE MASS!......soooooo is it the amount of muscle, the amount of bodyfat or perhaps the percieved "threat" to the viewers own masculinity that is the deciding factor? Whether a man finds me attractive or not is WHOLELY IRRELEVANT!.....I have been married, HAPPILY, for 10+ years, have FOUR BEAUTIFUL children and a succesful modeling career. I have ZERO to prove to ANYONE! This thread was just to have a little fun w/my brothas and sistas here at elite. So, now, all you "small man haters".....WHATUP?! ------------------ | ||
