i did 2 sets with just 45 lbs. i was 130 lbs. i remember going home that night trying to sit down on the toilet, and my legs just giving out, and my ass splashing in the toilet water. then i was trying to pull myself up by the towel rack, and the rack pulled out wall with me ending up on the floor. the most embarrissing part was my dad having to come in the b.room to help up with my shorts around my ankles. i lmao still when i think about that damn story!!

Don't mean to have an attitude. But I honestly did not know what w.out meant. Someone showed me a routine that said that and I had no clue what it meant. I'm not tryin to have an attitude I was serious.

The moral?

It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up - you had better be running.

I remember my first time squatting. It was second semester of my freshmen year in strength and conditioning class. I used 2 10's on each side (85 lbs) for about 8 reps. Now I do 185 for 6.

It was my freshman year in gym. We were doing weight training. My gym teacher was also the wrestling coach and he favored me because I was the only athlete in our class. So, I had never done squats before so I put 50 on the bar. He came over and laughed at me and made me put on 120. I weighed 125 and thought he was crazy. I did 7 reps and my thighs felt like jello for the next half hour and hurt like hell the next couple days. I've been working out ever since then and now I weigh 150!! GO ME!

Hell, I remember my first squat, I couln't even do 2 45's, I was doing 2 35's (this at a bodyweight of 172lbs mind you) I think it was my back that was giving out, because I remember at the time I could do 3 45's on each side of the Leg Press.

Hell, the first leg press experience was pathetic, 2 45's felt like tanks!
I did 2 35's to warm up, and 2 45's to finish, and for the next 3 days I was limping...
