Why do people bring their mobile phones into the trainig area?There is a guy(I'll call him asshole A)who joined the gym about a month ago.After EVERY set he makes a call on his phone.Tonight he was in the gym when he was joined by his buddy(asshole B).Asshole B does not train but his sole purpose is to spot asshole A.Asshole A was doing a set of D/B shoulder press with the 65's while asshole B was using the phone.Asshole A starts to struggle and needs a spot.Asshole B has quite a dilemna now.Does he put the phone down or what.Well he keeps talking and tries to spot by touching the elbows alternately using his right hand.Ultimately disaster strikes and asshole A's right hand fails sending the D/B crashing down on to the right hand side of his head.The impact was such that there was blood coming out of his ear.Both assholes promptly left not looking to happy.Funniest thing I've seen happen at the gym for a while.Serves the fucker right     | ||

hehehe.. when i was on call I used to take the phone to the gym, but not use it to MAKE calls.. that's just silly. Fortunately I'm never on call anymore, so I leave the phone in the locker room. | ||

I know what you're talking about and it really pisses me off. There's this one chick at the gym who walks on the treadmill and talks on the phone the entire fucking time. On one particular Saturday I swear she must have spent over 45 minutes talking & walking. Dumb bitch. | ||

i take my phone to the gym. i dont make calls ,but sometimes receive them. if that makes calls fuck him, worry about your own lifts, you are there to grow not count the minutes on peoples cell packages. people are too uptight... if i get a call at the gym its prolly something worthwhile. i guess it must suck not being popular huh hammer??? ------------------  |
