What joint did you have to let heal from Wrestling?
I had surgery in Oct 99 on my shoulder (old football injury). It sucked! The doctor's took out a piece of my Clavicle and some floating cartilage. It took me 3 months to rehab myself. It's helps that I took some PT courses in College.

I am 26 years old. 5'11" 205lbs at 9% bodyfat. I have never takin GEAR before. I may in the future but it's a major decision for me. I will have to weight the Pro's and Con's. I am thinking of posting a pic this weekend to get some feedback.

I'm back dude,

the injury was to my elbow.

I had one of my team mates land on my arm against the joint while it was planted on the mat (hard to describe) since it was during the season I could not take enought time to heal so I wrestled like that for about 10 matches, then again when i was a senior it got re-injured,
then last summer (while on gear) I got kind of greedy and tried doing 115lbs preacher curls, i got up about 2 reps and then my elbow just gave in, I had to drop the weights and the next day my elbow was swolen.

The way the doctor described it I had something deataching in my elbow ligamens and I had to alowe time for it to heal otherwise they would have to go in and like reatach shit, and maybe inplant syntetic stuff (I wasn't that concerned with it I just wanted to keep traning) I'll look for all the papers i got from the doctor and I'll tell you the exact name of the type of injury I had.

It sucked I lost a lot of weight during the winter last year and have been trying to get where I should be by now.

I know what you mean about losing weight. I lost around 15lbs. of muscle after my surgery. I kind of let myself go because i couldn't train. But I have made my way back for the most part. Sometimes two days after i train shoulders. I feel some pain, but not enough to stop lifting.

Let me know what the injury to you elbow was called when you find your papers.

They diagnosed me with a partial tear on the Acromim Claviclular joint.

You know what I noticed that when sobody goes thru some type of tragedy guys who use Gear tend to lose muscle a lot faster than guys who are natural, it's like a double edge sword.
