Man, I have so much free time now after school(at least 'till I get a new job) that I've been thinking about the reason I still haven't banged a girl. I remember Shagwell saying somewhere else on this site that anyone can get layed if they want to. I have to agree with that. I'm not a hunk, but (not to toot my own horn here) I am the kind of guy most girls would love to have. I have a decent physique. I'm not strikingly handsome, but I ain't ugly either(I think). I have a large amount of knowledge about just about everything. I'm a somewhat romantic guy (more than other guys anyway). anyway, I'm not gonna ramble, this is the problem: I believe in God, and in his commandments, and so on. I believe in commitment. And i believe in not causing emotional harm to anyone else if I can help it. So there you have it, i could like, tomorrow, and ask out one of the girls in my class (they're pretty nice, but i get the impression they measure a man by what he's worth, which means they want a guy with money, a nice car, so on). That means commitment is out, because she will break my balls constantly about not giving her what she wants. Also i don't know what her beliefs regarding things that I hold value to (religion, commitment, etc.) If I just wanted a quick bang, I'd go for it, and probably within a week I'd be in. Problem with that is first: God forbids it, and I accept that. Second: I'm running a high risk of hurting her emotions as well as mine. For me it's like gambling where you have an 80% chance of losing, and only 20% chance of winning. So I rather keep my bills, until I can find someone with which i have much better odds of succeding with... ------------------     | ||

Organized religion is basically around because people are afraid of death. It is all a huge story that scares people into staying in line with the norm. Well I think your reasons are great. I think someone will be glad to be the first and maybe only you share yourself with. I have always believed that with every person you sleep with you lose some small part of yourself. I think nothing could be better than sharing somthing with the person you love that you haven't shared with anyone else in your lifetime. | ||

And Remember there are alot more things out there than sex. Integrity at your age is something hard to find. Stick to your convictions. they will lead you to the right place. EXCUSE ME how is God a fucking pussy and what and the hell does religion is non metal mean? I am not a bible banger but WTF? Anyways virginity is a personal choice if you want to retain it than fine do so. I have a friend who is married to the only woman he had sex with and he is happy as hell. They share a common experience with each other that is unique and makes there bond that much tighter. I personally have learned that sex is something that should be introduced later in a relationship. It is more satisfying being with somebody you truly care about than with a random one nighter. That is just my opinion and I am sure many people disagree. But it is what I have learned through experience and maturity. Be yourself and stay by your convictions no matter what others think. | ||
