Decided to buy a dvd player got a toshiba 2200 model, wondering if i need to go out and buy cables and shit as well. Dont have surround sound system yet so are any of them needed, havent got it yet but its on its way. Thanks for the replies.    | ||

Most DVD players come with the basic cables, for what I believe your set up is, you'll be fine. Are you just running the picture and sound into your TV like a VCR? | ||

I hope you have a video input on your TV(left, right, video) because most DVD players don't have a coaxial output for video/audio. | ||

yeah just plan on having it into my tv. I have a pretty legit super flat screen tv with very good sound and dvd player has a dolby digital decoder so i should be cool. Thanks for the responses. |
