I was arguing with this fat, stupid, asjflkajs;lfjl;kasjlfjlasjfljasljflkajkslkjfalksjflkasjlkjkf bitch at my work last night about losing weight.

I ask her about her workout routine, and how she plans on 'losing about 20-30 lbs.'

This is her answer: "Well, I want to lose fat from my stomach, thighs, and butt, so I'm doing a some crunches, thigh machines (sp) and butt exercises."

At this point I'm already boiling inside. This ignorant stupidity is the number 1 thing that sets me off.

I ask her about her diet...her reply?
"What do you mean?"

I try to be helpful and explain to her what she's doing wrong, and some of the basics of losing weight. I speak about aerobics, the spot-reduction myth, and the extreme importance of diet.

She then goes on to basically say:

"Look, 'Frackal', you don't know what you're talking about, plus you're not a personal trainer.

How do I know you don't know how to lose weight? Because you are big."

<I'm not that big, but compared to her and other kids our age I am>

she continues...
"What do you know about losing weight? Being muscular is different.

And anyway, I don't care about the way I look, and I don't care if I don't make progress. You just wait. In a year I'll be beautiful."

At this point I can't take it anymore and tell her to get the fuck out of my face. I know this is a bit of an overreaction but I already hated this bitch and this was the last straw.

Then she says, after I already tried to explain to her:

"Well if you know smart guy, then tell me how YOU'D do it."

By this time I'm fucking sick of this bitch and I have to get back to work anyway so I just reply

"I would, but you obviously aren't intelligent enough to comprehend anything I say anyway."

Hehehe...I don't think she likes me very much. The annoying thing is is that all my coworkers were backing her up...I don't understand it, especially when you compare the 2 of us looks-wise...

So there I am trying not to lose my fucking mind (I had also just competed 2 weeks earlier so I've been dieting for what seems like FOREVER!). I rip open a fucking protein bar - only "cheat" of the day....and my big fat cheezy-ass tight white sweatshirt that sits right on her fucking wideload black stretch pant wearing hips bitchster in law comes running over, snatches up the wrapper and sez, "Oh my, 8 grams of fat?! Do you really want to eat THAT MUCH FAT?!"

You have got to be fucking kidding me, I thought! This stupid fat OBVIOUSLY BLIND as well as DUMB cow is going to question what I am eating?!

So I asked her how many grams of fat does she think a person my size should consume in a day, and tried to explain that this bar was a meal replacement...not a candy bar eaten as a desert after my meal.....that I eat minimum of 4 max 6 meals per day....not going below 1800 but not above 2000 calories - 8g of fat only equals 72calories, the entire bar was like 300 calories (or something like that)......and on and on and on....she just shook her head, didn't listen to a FUCKING WORD that came out of my mouth and waddled away.

Seriously, if I was your sister-in-law, wouldn't you ask me about diet and excersize and maybe listen just a little?

Hell, 4 years ago, I was one of those people.

I weighed 300 lbs @ 5'10". Why was I like that? Simple- ate more calories than I burned off. Drank too much booze.

You want an insight as to obesity? For me, I loved the taste of food in my mouth. I loved to have my mouth stuffed so full of pizza, chinese, ravioli, etc.

Why did I change? Cannot figure that out totally either. I guess getting diabetes was the major reason. No one wants to have their limbs amputated, go blind, have your kidneys fail, etc.

Well today, I'm down to 210, have stable sugar levels, and have radically changed my body. Nobody recognizes me anymore.

I cannot ever HATE fat people. I have been to hell, seen it and never want to return. I know what they are going through and realize that when it is in them to change, they will.
If you detest fat people, let it go- concentrate on yourself. The toes you step on today may be connected to the ass you have to kiss tomorrow.

I am the first person to help someone out in the gym - REGARDLESS of what level of fitness they have achieved - newbie to fellow competitor simply asking directions to the locker room. As a matter of fact I have a particular soft spot for women ('cause I'm one and can identify w/the way society treats a fat chick.) and will go out of my way to be upbeat and helpful and make them feel every bit as welcome in the gym as I would be if it was Valentina herself!

This being said, that passion need not necessarily be directed at their waistlines. My post you quoted was poorly worded. I did not mean to imply that I hated fat people who did not care about being fat.

At least, I do not think I did. You see, since that older post I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Thanks Pamela. Since I have been treated for this disorder, many of my viewpoints on such issues have morphed considerably. I cannot honestly dissect my original intentions. It could be at that time I did have venom not unlike yours, but it is gone now.

Please do not declare me a hypocrite. That I won't tolerate. It is possible that I misrepresented myself initially or that I have simply gotten past the hate.
