b.i.g. is weak. he had more trouble with his fat ass tongue in his mouth to be able to rap. plus he never came close to tupac as far as "songs with meaning". most of his stuff was reliant on beat and bassline to get him by. dont like him just cause he's east coast. tupac was very eloquent in his rhymes. i dont know many that were able to portray a message as well as him. plus hes from the WEEESSSTT SIEEEEDDEEEE! ------------------ | ||

Since most of you are "Hicked Out" I can see you voting for 2pac, since he is fro the "west side" (but the again you probably like juvenile, then I have lost all respect for you) His work won't be as appreciated as 2pac's simply because his career was cut short. realeasing only 2 albums and a hand full of cameo appereances is hardly a long career. Biggie inspired a whole movement, the club scene changed due to his records (ask anybody in NY). ofcource some of you would discredit him just because he was Fat, but then you could make the same argument for Big Pun, then I have lost all respect for you.

Is this a freakin' joke? How can ANYONE think that Fatty was a better lyricist than 2pac? Are you listening to the lyrics? Sure Fatty's got skills but he is second to 2pac. All Eyez on Me is the best rap CD's that have come out to date. Listen to the lyrics. Listen carefully. Even Makeveli has some crazy shit in it. Biggie is awright but 2pac is the man. Anyone heard any of Tupacs unreleased shit?? They're easy to find. Songs like "words to my firstborn", "never be peace", "when thugs cry", and theres a whole shitload more. The under ground albums are usually titled.. Makaveli 2-14. You can't even compare biggie to pac. | ||

so am i to understand that because biggee and big pun came up with some ingenius rhymes they are better than tupac? tupac actually said something and was poetic, yet still hard. dr.seuss had some neat rhymes maybe he could have biggee work for him. seems along the same lines. sure flow and rythm are part of it but to be good you have to say something beyond bragging on yourself or telling about everything you have. how about intelligent, creative commentary....oh that sounds like machiavelli to me. Tupac was educated, he knew what was going on, his rhymes had meaning not just yelling about killing cops, gang bangin' and getting fucked up. He rapped about everything. He was the master. No where near either 2pac or Biggie, or a whole list of other rappers that you have and haven't heard of.
