Its headed for full decriminalization... The new law Prop 36 dictates that all 1st and 2nd time offenders for posession and use be automatically sent to a community treatment program instead of jail and/or prison. Nevada also approved a medical marijuana prop for the second time and now it is law. I keep telling everybody that as the boomer populations get older, more pressure will be put on congress to make obtaining steroids easier. Test has truly been the fountain of youth for me. ------------------     | ||

I guess that doesnt affect those of us that routinely have ounces or QP's at the pad - I don't see them being so lenient with poss. w/ intent arrests. se la vi Slopain | ||

No change in the posession with intent to sell laws though. Some further laws: Humbolt County passed Measure G which totally decriminalizes marijuana. Now I realize that the approval was a given thing, but even in conservative Calaveras County, the board of supervisors has said that one can posess 1 lb and up to 6 plants for medical reasons. There is even a "church" in Angels Camp called the Northern Lights (ha)congregation that openly uses marijuana as a "sacrament" in their worship. Its time to go after the crank, crack, and meth people instead of marijuana users.

It doesn't matter what's passed at the state level. If the feds don't decriminalize it, its the same old song. | ||

The feds are facist in nature and will not decrim pot. I think that the fed gov., is the most criminal group on the planet. Talk about gangs, hell the feds are the gang or mafia, whatever you want to call it. | ||
