I need to purge the cookies from my computer. I wont go into the reasons here, but are there any programs I can purchase that will do the job? I know how to get to the cookies, but dont have the time to delete them all one by one. Just looking for a program to purge them. Thanks.     | ||

you don't have to delete them one at a time...just go to the cookies folder and "select all" then delete. You don't need a special program to do this. If you don't want anymore cookies just disable them in your browser settings, but if you do this you will not be able to access certain websites. | ||

If you think you are in serious threat from the law, just deleating them will not get rid of them. First and for most cookie pointers are also in the temp ie/net cache 2) on win 95/98 using a FAT or FAT32 partion, this info is easily recoverable. I have recoverd deleated files before. What you really want is a good scrub program, You only need this if your dealing with some one very technical.
