If you havent had a chance to see the Saints play-check them out-They are the same type of team as Tampa but better. Last week, San Francisco was scared shitless of Ricky Williams,they were stacking 9 people at the line of scrimmage and the Saints threw all over them.Even though they were getting torched, they still wouldnt allow Ricky to get loose. Laroi Glover should win Defensive player of the year. ------------------     | ||

Ya it sucks. they fire the man that brought the best running back in NFL history to them. He may not break all the records, because he does not play behind the greatest oline and have the best qb, but he is still going to be a good running back., | ||

The SAints are having a great year. I think they are overachieving a little bit, I would'nt quite say they are better than Tampa. While Ricky Williams looks like the real deal, SF's defense would probably be scared shitless of Michael Jackson with a football in his hand. | ||

You also saw a team playing in the 2nd week, that had a completely different team, entire coaching staff, and GM than last year. They did not come out of the gate quick, but they are now gelling. They are 100% better team now than they were in when they played the Eagles. They also corrected their special teams problems with key free agent pickups about 3 weeks ago. ------------------ | ||

I think Ricky Williams is good, but definatly do not think he is the best running back in NFL history. I give that to Payton w/ Sanders as 2nd. Hey MB, when I seen the Saints play Philly I seen the same thing you did. ------------------ | ||

You can only play the teams on your schedule. San Fran had the 4th ranked Offense in the league and were completely shut down. You all will recognize-they play St.Louis twice and Oakland coming down the stretch. ------------------ | ||

Lat is correct. Ditka gave up a lot to get the man, but he got the man that you can build around. You do not build teams off the draft anymore anyway., You hope to get one great player about every 3 drafts and the saints can to the rest through free agency. I agree Jeff Blake can not take the to the BOWL. | ||

The Saints are looking pretty good after i saw them shut down the san fran offense. They still are the saints though. The three decent teams they have played, not even realyl decent either in terms of seattle, they have lost to. They havent proven themselves yet but they do look better each week. They have a lot of things in place if they can put it all together. | ||
