I'd casually dress up as a pizza delivery guy and knock on the front door, or get a tank and bash your way through the rear entrance.

Call them, write them, email them. Tell them you want to kill the President. You'll get to visit with all of them more than you ever imagined. LOL

The best way is probably through serving in the military. I am pretty sure they both require a college degree. When I was separating from the Army I was contacted about applying for a CIA position - just asked to go to a meeting and receive a briefing about what "clandestine operations" is. Since I was an officer in the Ranger Regiment, I had an "in" that others may not have. After that, there is an extensive application process, and if you get far enough, complete background check and psychological evaluaton. Military is the best way into CIA. I don't know about Secrest Service. I think there is a website.

I think the CIA will require a pertinent post-grad degree (eg - middle eastern languages or area studies) and/or several years of military experience in a field such as military intelligence or special ops. The Secret Service may require a degree, depending on the recruiting quotas at a given time...the standards for SS, DEA, US Marshals are raised and lowered to meet needs. Both will require extensive background checks and probably polygraph testing...if you've ever been busted for dope (including AAS) or a violent felony, forget about it. Positions at both agencies are highly sought after (obviously), and the competition is fierce...I have the impression you are a young bro looking for direction...MTS is right; get a degree (in something like poli sci or military science), join the military (any branch), do four or five years as an officer. Another option is to join the Border Patrol - the standards are much lower and you don't need a degree - it's almost like serving in the military - after a few years in the BP, you can request a transfer to Customs or SS, and continue working your way up (I have a buddy who just went from BP to Customs).

I know that at one time they had a hiring freeze... Not sure about now though. Go to a book store and look at the "Test Guides" section. There are a few books/manuals geared towards government work with complete guides as to how to approach the system, what they look for, requirements, etc... ------------------ |
