i noticed quite afew people here are into aquariums - does anyone other than slickdadd know what a clown knife is? Bad ass fish, i've had one get a little over a foot long and he couldn't maneuver very well in my 55 gallon tank, so i had to get rid of him. biggest i've seen was around 2 feet in a 75 gallon... anyone know waht i'm talkin about?     | ||

One of my buddies has an aquirium w/ a clown fish in it. it is a really cool looking fish. He also had a big snake head fish, that fish had a bottomless stomach it would eat every time we threw fish into the tank. I dont have any fish but I have a caiman(south american species of alligator). He is about 8 inches long. He is a lot of fun to watch especially when he eats mice | ||

I USED TO SELL TROPICAL/SALTWATER FISH... CLOWN KNIFES GET BIG, BUT FAR FROM BAD ASS. YOU WANT BAD ASS GET AN ELECTRIC CAT, SO COOL AND PRETTY CHEAP TOO. THEY WILL KNOCK YOU ON YOUR ASS WHEN THEY ARE BIG. I USED TO HAVE A TON OF FISH... GOD DAMN, I KILLED EM ALL IN ONE DAY... WRONG MIXTURE IN WATER | ||

I'm into ornamental goldfish. Japanese and Chinese Oranda, Lionbacks, Celestials, etc... Looking for a good (at least) 100 gal. setup. Anybody have any links to good online aquatics suppliers? | ||

A few years ago a friend of mine had a girl who bought him anything. He went and had her buy him a enormous black laquer tank. It was like 125 or larger. She spent 1800 on everything(filter, pump, all the bullshit) He bought a Clownknife, a snakehead, two Oscars, a bunch of those suckers, and adempsey. I ended up moving in his house and I added a largemouth bass and a Aligator gar. The fuckin fish were ravenous. They grew fast as hell and ate toons of fish. Especially the snakehead(which was now 14 inches long) The clownknife was at least that big if not larger. They were all huge except the dempsey which got eaten. We took turns buying feeder goldfish. 100-150 every few days. It was massacre when they got dumped in. They were all growing so fast. Well all good things come to an end. He broke up with this girl and she came one night with these huge fuckers and took it!!! All the fish were left in a few buckets and the tank was gone!!!! | ||

I had a saltwater tank once. The fish are really cool. I remember I had a little grouper, something called a surgeon fish, and some other pussy fish that got eaten within 5 minutes of introduction to the tank. They are a lot of maintenance, though. I had one of those crabs that wass supposed to help clean the tank by eating all the microorganisms and bacteria but he did'nt do a very good job, so I had to cancel his contract and threw him in the bay. | ||

My pimp assed clown knife is gettin decently big. He isnt growing at any record pace due to the fact of my lazy ass only buying him food a couple times a week, but hey he'll live. At any time you want a fish that gets big fast, get a channel cat, those things have no limits. | ||

Slick: my catfish is spouting up to nearly a foot as i type. Someone asked for good sites to get tanks from, try EBay, you can find kickass deals on there. | ||

She wasn't my girl. She ws my roomate's. She also took the 60 inch TV too!!! She came with the cops and credit card receipts. She was a stupid gutter slut, that almost got taken! We were moving in 2 weeks and we thought we could get away with the tank and TV. I guess not! |
