He's got the tools, size, strength, speed. It is hard to tell because of the compitition. I like Michael Bennett of Wisconsin, he's the fsteast back I've seen in a while. He's not as complete as Tomlinson, but he's got a better burst. I want to see what Clinton Portis of Miami can do if he were to get 20 carries a game on a consistent basis. I remeber when Alabama violated Gino, although he was a good college QB, albeit with incredible weapons. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Memories are short I suppose. Opposing defenses do everything they can to stop this guy. They don't have to worry about TCU's big time QB, Casey Printers. Who? Yes Printers. Who? Teams know Toilnson is going to get the ball all the time and he still destroys opponents. All this "competition" crap is exaclty that: horseshit. Remember Marshall Faulk: small school, big numbers. All he did was turn into the most productive back in the NFL. Other small schoolers include Jerry Rice and Walter Payton. More recently, Steve McNair and Daunte Culpepper, and some guy named Randy Moss. Tomlinson is for real, and in a year or two, a few NFL teams will kick themselves for not taking him. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I havent seen Tomlinson. Michael bennett is a definite big time runner. Damien Anderson from Northwestern as well seems to consistently put up ridiculously bloated numbers. This year is full of RB's and many will go into the draft. A great RB that no one hears much about is Travis Henry at Tennessee, runs like Emmitt Smith. Even though a down year, look for him, he'll be a great back. ![]() ![]() ![]()

espn draft "guru" (i use the term loosely) has tomlinson rated as the 8th best senior prospect and second best running back, behind only deuce mcallister. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

MARSHALL ISNT A SMALL TIME PROGRAM, THEY HAVE HAD THEIR YEARS WITH AND WITHOUT MOSS. I DUNNO, FOR SOME REASON I JUST SEE TCU AS A SHITTY PROGRAM AND SDSU AND MARSHALL AS NOTHING SPECIAL, BUT DECENT... MAYBE TOMLINSON WILL DO THAT FOR TCU... LIKE I SAID, I HAVENT GOT TO SEE HIM, AND WAS WONDERING IF HE WAS FOR REAL. SOMETIMES THE COLLEGE GUYS THAT ARE DESTINED FOR GREATNESS FLOP (TROY EDWARDS!!!! STEELERS HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS I AM SURE) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
