This guy is a punk. He is not a game breaking receiver like he thinks he is. He was sulking the whole game, because he wasn't getting the looks. He decides not to go hard on every down... hence the running game takes a blow due to an extra man in the box. On the last three plays of the game.... skins throw at him. QB's are not perfect, so they need play makers to come up with the ball. This is something that AC could not do. He blew his chances to be a hero. The skins will get it together, but I think someone needs to get into AC's face and tell him to quit being a punk. I am a former player, and I know others see the same thing. An offense cannot win 10 on 11 and one being the QB. Numbers don't addd up. My rant... thanks for listening.    | ||

That was pretty pathetic seeing him sitting there shaking his head after a pass was thrown slightly behind him. I don'tknow what's wrong with him. He can be an exceptional reciever when he wants to. I think the fact that he is drawing a lot of double coverage now that Westbrook(who I don;t think is as good as Connell) is hurt and it's frustrating him. | ||

I agree with both replies, except for the one about AC being a better receiver than Westbrook. I have to admit that I don't think that Westbrook is "the man" but he is stronger and a little more consistant across the middle. AC has his good games when teams bow up to stop the run with 8 or 9 in the box. Good receivers find ways to get open for their QB's or they sacrifice their position for the good of the team. The Cards kept two deep every down, saying to the skins you are going to have to run to beat us. If AC would have sold out to help the run, maybe a different outcome. Keep em coming.......... | ||

AS FOR WESTBROOK, HE HAS HAD A HUGE START OR TWO, AND A GREAT FINISH TO A SEASON, BUT HE IS INJURY PRONE... LAST YEAR HE WAS ON FIRE FOR A WHILE, AS WITH THE YEAR BEFORE TOO... connell is a bitch, he is like keyshawn in a way he cries if he doesnt get the ball, he thinks hes a game breaker which ehs not, i never even heard of him til this yr, and he doesnt give 100 percent effort, if i was a coach i would not want someone like him on my team and if he was id give him his unconditional release from the team or trade him |
