See my posts on the chat board. Libertarian is the only way to go. If you simply won't vote Libertarian for whatever reason, I rather see Nader president than Gore anyday of the week. The 2 major candidates both have too many special interests to protect. They are both for the drug war. I can't believe anyone on an Anabolic discussion board would support a candidate that wants to lock us all up for felonies. Oh, and they are hypocrites on top of it all. | ||

I know this is not a political board but dick head clinton is the one who tried scoring points with the uneducated public about steroid law and do the "great crack down", so what about his boy gore, I say bullshit on that , and that DOES have every thing to do with this board! We pay about 33% of are pay checks to the government now. With Gore, we'll be paying up to 66% to fit all his fuckin spending. Along with many other reasons, I dont see how anyone would vote for Gore. | ||

Chesty, What do fascists (Hitler and Mussolini) and Socialists (Lenin and Stalin) have to do with Gore? Gore is still very capitalist and individualistic compared to any of the above. They also had Nationalistic fervor (although more with the Fascist) than anyone in the United States ever will. I bite my tongue when it comes to your political view because I highly respect you, but this may be a bit overzealous on your part. Three out of four you have mentioned could be classified as "evil" so it is somewhat unfair to compare Gore to them. Especially since Gore is the one without the arrest record...lol. | ||

Hey Thick. What Ive learned on this board is that people use a "loose" definition of the words communist and socialist. Ive heard not only Gore but Nader refered to in this way. I simply dont get it myself. I think most Americans throw those words around but either dont mean it or dont know what communism or socialism really is. They think just because Gore want universal healthcare that he is socialist- | ||

Gore has my vote. In my mind, anyone voting for Bush has never seen one of the debates, has never heard him speak, doesn't give a crap about anyone but their rich ass, or just completely doesn't understand economics or politics. Or is one of those "hunters" who enjoys blowing away defenseless deer with their automatic rifles and then wants to carry those rifles around when they pick up their kids from school. Does anyone notice that Gores' face looks like it was made from latex? I swear,when he speaks it's like watching a pre-programmed robot. Like the Mr. Lincoln exhibit at Disneyland. A lot of you younger people don't remember that not so long ago, a paycheck did not have so many taxes taken out of it.You made 300$ per week and kept about 270.00.Nowdays,just income tax takes 75-80$ and after spending$ on sales tax,gas tax,state income tax, utility tax, phone taxes,etc. You have nothing left. The system NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. I'm willing to give Bush a chance for 4 years. Working families?, Those are the ones Gore targets as the rich. Sorry,not fooling me and further,it insults my situation that I have worked many years to achieve.

2thick, What I am referring to when I mention those people in the post, is the fact that they were all about taking away freedoms, as mentioned they all implemented gun control, created police states and controlled the media. If Gore has his way we will not be allowed to own a gun, we will have a police state (because only the police will be armed) and he will control the media. While he may be considered a capitalist, he has his own agenda and it suits only him. As for being labeled communist or socialist or fasciist, etc, I never claimed him to be nor said he was, what I did point out was that he and some of the past leaders of the world have the same ideas. Did you know that the 1968 gun control act authored by a democrat was almost a verbatim translation of the Hitler gun control act of 1933 (I believe that was the year, but whatever year it was the beginning of the end for Germany) I wonder why? The United Nations which Gore holds in such high regard, had its constitution drafted by American professors almost all of which were socialist or communist in there political beliefs. I want to ask some questions: My statements lose me credibility? Why? Because I can state why I think gore is bad for the country, with ideas other than he is a dumbass, or got a dui, or will continue to uphold paid for murders (called abortion) Come on, look deeper, much deeper, beyond what he says. On the surface he is not that much different than bush. But beneath the surface, things change, that is what I am talking about. Try it see where it leads you. There is more at stake than our taxes and ss money. |
