I know already HAVOC will have something bad to say to me about this ... If you pray 24/7 for a really long time asking God to lead you in the right direction of something or to at least give you some type of sign that what you are doing is the right thing and you never seem to get an answer, would you consider going to a fortune teller / psyhic instead to try and get the answers?     | ||

what is this? you think they have a direct line to heaven or something. God doesn't grant things by prayer, he does it by faith. If you prayed all week and did not believe in it, it will never happen. If you pray once and believe all week, you have a much better chance. I can tell you your fortune right now. Prayer starts in your head, and not on your knees, don't just go through the motions. | ||

Make every step of your life a prayer. I pray (meditate) damn near all day in my head and once in a while I will go to a pyschic for kicks. Most of them are total frauds, probably 99.95%, a few are for real those are the rare ones that shock the shit out of you with things you just did not think of asking!!! Then you look back and say, damn that fucker was right! Shit I should of sold IBM @ 132.5! FUCK FUCK FUCK!!! etc..... ------------------ | ||

You can't serve pagan gods by visiting fortune tellers & "psychics" and then pray to God and expect God to help you. God is not at your beck and call, and he has commanded that we serve no other gods. Also, speaking with God is not something that you can only do when it suits you. It is a connection taht must be maintained, only then will it be there for you when you truly need it. You also can't always expect to get your way. God does not always respond in the manner you are expecting. If you are not used to listening to God, you may not recognize His voice when he IS there for you. ------------------ | ||

It is very easy to talk in general terms. Many of us have two mothers that is a common question to ask a person that is over 18, because there is about a 50% chance one of them have remarried and so you have two moms, in a way. If you had said no she would of quickly went fishing in another direction.
