I have a sharp minidisc player. I got it for christmas last year. mine has a recorder in it so i make my own discs. Have not bought a cd since. I take it to the gym to work out and I have it hooked up to my car. With the new technology now I think an mp3 player might be a better bet though Later Sharps ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have a Sharp that I use in the gym during cardio. I decided on the MD rather than an mp3 player because of the low-priced MD media and the ability to carry multiple disks around. I mainly use it to play mp3's, but it's a pain in the ass to transfer them from PC to MD. With a portable mp3 player, you basically just copy the file from PC to MP3 player. But with the MD, you have to actually play the song on your PC, have the MD hooked into your soundcard, and record on the MD. I believe that the newer Sony and Sharp MD recorders have some sort of Internet package included that makes this a much easier process. There are also MD decks that allow you to quickly record from CD without too much hassle. Minidisco.com also sells devices and software that really helps with transferring MP3 to MD. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
