I used to use Netzero before I got my cable modem. They are always slow, and when they have problems it takes weeks to fix it. Look for a Alta Vista CD or Juno at a computer store.

Go to K-mart and get their free ISP cd (bluelight). Once you have bluelight running you can download netzero or some other free ISP. I personally think bluelight is better than netzero and freei.net is the best free ISP period. Too they're not letting anyone else sign up for it.

If you get AOL disks in the mail about every other week like I do, use one to get on the internet and then download netzero. AOL is funny. You get a couple of free months with the disk and when you call them to cancel they give you more free months. Twice I called to cancel and both times I got a couple of free months out of them. Then I canceled anyway and used netzero until I went with highspeed.

Free internet companies suck. And to top it off with them they are not gonna be in business much longer because they dont have enough sponsorship to stay afloat.
DSL is where its at.
