Uh... you can also clear the "location bar" on your browser, too. Any time you want. That way your boss won't see all the porno sites you visit. ------------------ | ||

Pamela, On my netscape i go to "edit" at the top of my screen. Go down to "preferences" you should see it in there. "clear location bar" (if your browser is the same) T Bone | ||

Go to Internet Options. Click "Delete Files". Then OK when box comes up. Then click on "Clear History" and hit OK again. Then go to "Settings" and click "View files" and delete them. Click on OK when it's done and that SHOULD do it. There may be more you could do, but it works for me. Never got into trouble for anything on the computer at work. | ||

Ziplip, encryption, and erasing your history is worthless. There is still a way to find written text in your harddrive. The only way to ensure privacy and totally erase your history is to put a bullet in your computer. ------------------ | ||
